I liked that it was a safe place for my family to get a good night sleep, and the fact that the front desk ladies were very nice. I did not like the smell of cannabis out front of the building and inside despite the ridiculous amount of "no cannabis" signs posted. The room was really small and had the smallest tub/shower I have ever seen in a motel. We have been to a lot of motels/hotels and this is the first one to ask for all adults Id's to scan. Everywhere else, including the hotel I stayed at the next night, only ask for my id because only I booked it. All in all, it was just a place to get sleep get up and leave so not so terrible. I wouldn't stay here again though.

Not worth the money

The room was quite small. Bathroom tub was peeling. Hotel smelled of wet dog and the rules were overwhelming however you could smell cannibis all over.

Ok for just the night to sleep.

Im normally a person thats always cold. With that said the AC was set at 66 and i wasn't cold. For a newer hotel they was a lot of cracks in things. The door only closed when you pushed it closed. The tv wasn't set so you could enjoy it from the bed completely. Yes, it was clean and well light. If your looking for a place to sleep this place is great. Kinda worried me a bit about all the "safety" signs and things you had go though.

Not recommended

I was disappointed with nearly every aspect of my stay at this motel and would not recommend it. There was no shampoo provided, and the towel holder in the bathroom was broken and falling apart. The security at the front desk was overly strict and maintained a different age policy than what is listed on the website, which prevented many of our teammates from staying there. Additionally, there is a strict no guest policy. When I book hotels for a group, I look for a place that allows my team to be together and gives me peace of mind that everything is handled. My experience with Motel 6 Allentown was just the opposite; it felt as if I had no bookings at all and had to start from scratch while also driving. As a result, we all stayed in different places and were not together, which added logistical complications throughout the weekend. The receptionist even greeted our guests with hostility at the back door and threatened to evict the entire party and call the police if individuals under 21 tried to enter. This absurd behavior from the front desk staff is an experience I hope to never relive, and I will never book this place again.

When I arrived I was refused check in due to parking. I asked to use the bathroom and was denied that as well.(Due to no public restrooms, but I had a reservation)

Clean and comfortable

Front desk attendant was super nice and helpful. Elevator worked great. Room was very clean and quiet. Only bars of soap are provided, so bring your own shampoo and conditioner. No breakfast, but coffee, decaf and hot water for tea available in the lobby. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Motel 6. It smelled nice. Our room was quite small, but nice. Note that if you bring a dog, you need to call to let them know because they have a limited number of dog rooms.
