A good choice for a multi-generational holiday & fabulous sunsets!
When it was built, Villa Atlantida would have been it’s owner’s pride and joy. Ornate fittings adorn the bathrooms, it has a beautiful marble staircase with traditional chandelier, a magnificent wooden front door and a stunning hillside location. It’s garden and fruit trees are beautifully kept and the neighbourhood is very pretty and peaceful (in late Autumn when we stayed) However you must be able to turn a blind eye to its tired shabbiness to enjoy a holiday here now. It doesn’t feel loved and that’s reflected in the very basic and tired facilities it offers to its guests. But with a little money spent on it this villa will be able to continue to wow its guests for years to come. It’s location offers stunning views, absolutely amazing sunsets and a 10 - 15 min walk to the beach and shops/restaurants of the old town.
The property manager, Susana, greeted us warmly on arrival and made us feel so welcome. She went out of her way to ensure our holiday went well and we really appreciated that!
All in all we had a great stay at Villa Atlantida!
