We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The location on the beach is breathtaking, all the beauriful rooms have sea view, the staff are lovely - efficient, friendly and the service is excellent.

Lovely hotel,

Pros: everything, staff,cleanliness, facilities, location
Cons: free sunbeds for residents as it was off season, charging for beds for maybe an hour seem a bit steep as most residents only seemed to use beds for a
Location: Located at beach and very close to square
All staff were polite and very helpful beyond what was required. The hotel is clean and very nice, and so central to everything.

Pleasent stay

Conveniently situated, central location, beach in front. 3rd off season visit in early December. So the fact come back says a lot hopefully.

Pros: The position over looking the beach
Cons: All of it
Location: Good position nice shop and good night life not very easy to get around public transport poor
Very disappointing the only reason it would be 4* would be because of its position. Food choice poor ,rooms very dated bed falling to pieces bathroom old shower didn't get hot. No outside sitting had to pay 15€ to use the beds on the beach even though they were part of the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Very miss leading about the transport to the hotel yes they do arrange it but tell you that you are charged for it when you get there. In real need of being updated could be a lovely hotel.

L'emplacement de l’hôtel est tout simplement parfait. La vue sur la plage directement en dessous du superbe balcon.A quelques mètres au même temps de la vielle ville. Magnifique! Le personnel très attentif et serviable. Le buffet du déjeuner est super. Merci à tous pour le bon service!

Sijainti loistava. Huoneet ja yleiset tilat avaria, siistejä ja kauniisti sisustettuja. Henkilökunta on kielitaitoista, palveluhenkistä ja ystävällistä. Hotellin alakerrassa oleva rantabaari on iltaisin/öisin melko meluisa. Samoin äänieristys huoneissa on melko huono, eli käytävän äänet kantautuvat kevyesti huoneisiin. Aamupala on melko yksitoikkoinen, mutta sisältää tuoreita aineksia ja on kaikkiaan ok.

Die Fenster unterdrücken nicht den Lärm, weswegen man nachts in einem lautem Zimmer schlafen muss, da es draussen bis 3 Uhr morgens laut sein kann.

Lage top - Hotel Flop

Pros: Unser Zimmer war relativ gross und die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Das Angebot beim Frühstücksbuffet war gut, Qualität war wenig zufriedenstellend
Cons: Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals an der Rezeption. Alles scheint zu viel zu sein. Schade.
Die Zimmer müssten dringend renoviert werden. Es hatte unangenehme, mit Schaumstoffstücken gefüllte Kissen, die Steckdosen waren zum Teil mangelhaft und es hatte allgemein zu wenig davon. Badezimmer: keine "normale" Steckdose, Föhn musste an der Rezeption verlangt werden. Im Badezimmer hat es kaum Ablagefläche, der Duschenschlauch war kaputt (wurde trotz Meldung nicht geflickt oder ersetzt). Kleiner, unsauberer Kühlschrank ohne Minibar-Inhalt. Allgemein zu wenig Ablagefläche / Stauraum im Zimmer, Schrank war mit Kissen und Decken vollgestopft. Das Sofa war schmuddelig, lud nicht zum Sitzen ein. Der Safeschlüssel kostet 15 Euro zusätzlich pro Woche. Ein sehr lautes Generator-Geräusch (oder ähnlich) störte uns auch in der Nacht. Der Balkon, samt Tisch und Stühlen,war völlig verschmutzt durch Möwendreck, trotz Meldung wurde nicht zufriedenstellend gesäubert.

Lage top, Hotel renovationsbedürftig

Pros: Lage Strandblick
Cons: Frühstücksbuffet Sauberkeit
Location: mitten in Albufeira gelegen, Strand direkt vor der Türe
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und für eine reine Übernachtung ist es OK. Gemäss unserer Buchung gibt es Parkplätze im Hotel, dem ist leider nicht so (sind im November ausserhalb der Saison verreist und die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel waren immer belegt). Leider wurde im Gebäude seit Jahrzehnten nichts mehr erneuert. Matrzatzen sind unangenehm, in unserem Zimmer sind teilweise die Steckdosen und Telefonanschlüssen aus der Wand gefallen. Bettüberzug war schmutzig, wurde schnell ausgewechselt. Personal an der Rezeption war eher unfreundlich, gegenüber den Langzeitgästen war man weitaus freundlicher. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar abwechlsungsreich, nach dem ersten Begutachten haben wir uns aber entschieden, ein Brot beim Bäcker zu holen. Das Essen sah nicht frisch aus, kam aus der Dose und der Kaffee war ungeniessbar. Für den Preis bei dieser Lage kann man wohl nicht mehr verlangen.
