I stayed three nights during the Thanksgiving holiday at the Candlewood Suites. The price for the value was good. I like hotels that have doors inside. I was able to request a top-floor room. The rooms were very quiet and though the hotel was full, I rarely heard noise from any of my neighbors. The hotel is very convenient to shopping and restaurants, and having a kitchenette was great. The room smelled like lit matches, so that was strange. The comforter was threadbare at the end. There were dirt streaks on the walls and the room was slightly shabby but it was overall nice enough. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating, and the woman who checked me in was careful not to show my room number on my keycard envelope to others as I was a solo female traveler.

Room is clean, comfy bed. Since kitchen is provided-coffee mugs would be nice and a couple dinner plates. There are 2 of us, we have 1 plate and 1 very small plate. We are making do however if your going to offer home amenities then give some.

First, we had TV problems, then the icemaker didn’t work in the room, and they had no ice machine on property, then the toilet broke, and the staff brought me a used part and asked me to fix it. Horrible stay poor ratings. Will never go back.

I like spacious room but TV was too small and too far away. No usb outlets anywhere must bring a converter. Otherwise it was clean and we had ice in the room which is a plus.

They treated us like we were their friends. Norman Bates checked us in and helped us with the TV. I forgot a housecoat on the bed and called back to see if she would mail it to me as it would be 6 months before next Dr. appointment. She was very kind, took my info and said she would check the laundry. I did not get her name.
