The hotel is older and very crowded, a lot of tour groups stay here. The train can be heard at all hours, it is not a quiet place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, however it is noisy.

This hotel is right in the heart of the Banhoffstrasse and across from the main train station. It is a very charming hotel with exceptionally friendly and knowledgable staff. The welcome drink is a very nice touch and our room had a fruit basket and chocolates to greet us. I would stay here again!

An excellent hotel and extremely convenient being opposite the station. It stands next to the tram and bus stops so connectivity is easy. From beginning to end our stay was faultless. The staff were friendly and attentive at all times. Breakfast was excellent. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

A lovely and stylish 1930s style hotel with modern amenities. Staff were all excellent, we particularly enjoyed the butler passing out free chocolate from his cart. Easy access to the train station and thus serves as an excellent springboard for site seeing. The restaurant was also excellent. It has a posh atmosphere and serves great tasting food for great prices.

I had a wonderful stay! The single room with twin bed was a comfortable size, and the twin bed was larger than expected. The room was well insulated, and I did not hear the other guests or the street noise. The hotel does cater to an older crowd, but the staff was friendly and attentive. It was a convenient location to travel around Switzerland and Zurich and very walkable to cafes and restaurants. I felt safe at the hotel as a single woman traveling on my own. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
