The Reef View Hotel is a great option for stays at Hamilton Island. The views are amazing, and it is clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. It was our second time visiting the hotel as a family. The resort as a whole (all restaurants and eateries, plus the IGA) is quite expensive, so it’s definitely worth getting breakfast included in your room rate if possible.

Hamilton Island is unreal, the room views are amazing, dream like really. The staff were all super friendly and we had a great time visiting there. Our rooms in the Reef View hotel however were old/tired & in desperate need of upgrading. The furniture was tatty & ripped. This is not what we expected for the price we paid, or from the pictures. There were little bugs all over the bathroom (we are very scared of bugs!) The rooms are very large and spacious on the plus side and they did have luggage stands. We didn't dine in, apart from breakfast, the dining area didn't look good.... it feels like it's in a lobby and it's always very busy with guests checking in/out in front of you. The lifts here were also a pain, the hotel was very busy and we always had to wait a while. I'd struggle to recommend this hotel to others, which feels wrong, but the rooms just are not at the standard they should be.

The area and hotel was gorgeous and everyone was incredibly helpful! The room was a bit dirty and had a LOT of little bugs that appeared under every single item. They would scatter as soon as the lights turned on and seemed harmless, but I found their endless presence in the room a bit unsettling.

The rooms were old and unrenovated, the photo of the renovated bathroom only applied to levels 1-4, the rest were unrenovated. We had to repeatedly request room service, calls to housekeeping were often unanswered. Air conditioning was capped at 23 degrees, not allowing the room to cool sufficiently. Not enough wardrobe space for clothing.

**Reef View Hotel Review** We recently stayed at the Reef View Hotel and had an overall lovely experience. The convenience and proximity to all the activities on Hamilton Island made our trip seamless and enjoyable. The breathtaking panoramic views of Catseye Beach from our room were truly unforgettable, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. That said, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. The overall quality of food at the hotel restaurants could be enhanced, as could the customer service, particularly in the dining establishments and when arranging tours. Additionally, I’d suggest adding a prompt during the booking process—especially for summer stays—to remind guests to reserve a buggy in advance. Despite these small hiccups, the experience was delightful, and I would recommend Reef View Hotel to anyone planning a visit to Hamilton Island. Thank you for a memorable stay!
