Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We checked out the Adara in anticipation of a future family trip and stayed two nights. The hotel was clean but is clearly in decline. The staff were friendly but unable to do much.
Pros:
The loft unit layouts are nice. Would work well for families.
It was clean.
Very walkable and central in Whistler.
Cons:
The living area had one damaged lamp which did not produce enough light for the space to be useful. We asked for the missing desk lamp but they were unable to provide one.
The living area was missing an end table reducing the function of the space.
There was no coffee/tea press as described; coffee and tea bags were provided with an electric kettle.
The mattress was placed on top of an overturned box spring (no bed frame, skirt etc).
The "wood" veneer in the bathroom was coming off in several places.
While there were extra bed pillows, there were no extra blankets and the room temp was difficult to regulate.
Housekeeping came after the first night and refilled the coffee bags (yay) but did not fill soap, kleenex or toilet paper. The front desk did promptly refill the toilet paper upon notice.
While the layout and location are plusses, the state of the facilities and furnishings would make this hard to recommend.
