Venice Resorts does the job
The check-in process was ok and the room was decent. The only problem was that the room had an air conditioner, but no remote was included. No one answered the phone when I called to inquire about getting a remote at around 5:30 in the evening. As it is hot in Venice, that could be a real problem for a lot of guests. Luckily it was not in the dead of summer. Overall, it was ok.

Location is good if you would like to get close to the main station for bus, rail and water transport. No reception is a problem, the name Venice Resorts does not mean it is a resort, it is merely AbnB !

Location - close to train station yet walkable to everywhere else on the main island; note that there are 3 restaurants on the street under the hotel; it gets quite noisy which might be a problem if you are a light sleeper; the noise didn't bother us Staff - Emma is fantastic - super nice and accommodated a last minute floor change request which we greatly appreciated; stairs are a bit steep and might be a concern for senior travelers (i was travelling with a senior hence the request for a room on a lower floor) Room - clean and spacious; bed mattress was very comfortable and so were the pillows; spacious and clean bathroom as well; shower stall with jets Wi-Fi - worked fine during our stay except for the night before we checked out

Nice room, great AC, bad wifi
PROS: Close to train/bus station (less than 10 minute walk), cute street with lots going on, comfortable beds, very clean, strong air conditioning, nicely decorated CONS: wifi did not work! have to go to another location to check in, can be very loud in the early morning with church bells and tourist groups Overall, would recommend for the price/location/space but be aware of the wifi issue (seemed to work better on ground floor but there's no lobby area and our room was on the 1st/2nd floor where it didn't work at all), the noise (but part of being in the city) and the check in at another hotel (nearby but still a hassle).

It's very old and small. If you are claustrophobic...stay away. Pack light as you'll need to walk a lot and no elevators . No toiletries are provided either. WIFi is not good.

Location was great with easy access to everything. Room was small but but lovely with original exposed wood beams. Wifi was not reliable. We stayed for two nights and the room was not cleaned each day as was indicated when we checked in. Our room was on the third floor and the stairs are very steep and narrow. Challenging getting the suitcases up. Would not be suitable for seniors or physically challenged.

We were in the quad on the 2nd floor. Reviews are based on this room, others may be different. We chose this place based on price for 4 people and location. Pros: Convenient to sites, about 8-10minute walk to nearest ferry station. Cons: from the station, the only way to get to the hotel is to walk with minimum two bridges (up/down stairs) to cross. The check in location is separate from the room so you need to go there first if you check in before 15:30. Otherwise, they give you the code to the front door and go straight to the room. WiFi was very bad, very weak and often cutting out. The shower was very small, about 80x80cm so even a small person couldn’t bend down. Shampoo in packets. No cleaning service, no breakfast. Make sure you ask for amenities (extra toilet paper) in advance.

This is very basic accommodation. There is no kitchenette or facilities to make coffee/tea. There was a noise outside (I think possibly an aircon unit from the neighbours) which went off every 10 seconds (& all through the night) which was annoying and made it hard to sleep. The place is however in a good location for cafes, shops and sightseeing. And has aircon which is nice in the hot weather.

The location of this property is what i liked the most. It is NOT in a very touristic area meaning it has more of a local feel. There is no elevator which was no problem for us but an older couple may not enjoy the steep cramped stairways. We stayed on the top floor with windows that opened into the "courtyard". When we arrived our sink was broken. It was fixed at a reasonable time. There is AC but no remote so we could not use it. My biggeat advice is to pay attention to where you check in. You check in at another location that is a couple min walk. The hotel is close to central bus/train stations.
