The property itself was great. We had a spacious apartment for my family of five. It had all the character of an “old” establishment with the modern conveniences and bathrooms. If you need it, it’s there. The area is right in the heart of Venice and easily accessible to anything you could want as well as the grand canal transportation. We were able to check-in remotely and the communication was top notch. We were sent detailed maps and directions for the apartment location including the recommended ferry line. We needed to extend our stay and needed help finding a VERY early water taxi to make our flight, and each time the communication with the office was quick, thorough, and in perfect English. I can’t recommend this property enough. They get ALL the stars.

48 hours in Venice without a shower
Friendly greeting and good location, we had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be available . We arrived at 3pm and was very tired. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable . Unfortunately whether it was a plumbing problem or not. The power to the shower, sink and toilet was slow, barely more than a trickle. .

It was nice staying near venice's main canal in historical and classic style hotel. The only mode of transportation was the water bus, water taxis, are walking. Plenty of restaurants close by.

Excellent position, very quiet at night. Loved the beds and bedsheets and pillows. The staff is outstanding, helpful and kind and prompt like a 5 star. Spacious rooms. Bathroom is tiny but this is maybe usual in Venice.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, clean, staff super friendly and helpful, great restaurant and breakfast recommendations, off a small square so quiet but walking distance to everything. Bathroom was really nice. Free espresso every morning. Cons: the rooftop they advertise is only for one room, not for all guests. The hotel listing is a little misleading. I thought i would be able to take a break and read with wine on the rooftop but was told only one room could access it. Also, since it's an older building, the walls are a little thin. But overall a great stay and would recommend.
