Skip Mestre, stay in the Venetian Lagoon
Billed as a resort, but faded. Not worth it. You literally have to go back to the airport to get to the lagoon anyway. Unless you must stay in Mestre, if you’re visiting Venice- stay in the Lagoon- (any of the islands, Murano is really close to the airport.) The water buses are so convenient and so much more pleasurable. Venice is a jewel, Mestre is like staying in the suburbs.

When we checked in to the property, we met a couple at the reception desk who were complaining about the room due to the presence of cocktoach in their room!!! Luckily the room we had was large enough and didn't have any issues. Shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent and we paid £25 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Also, the bus stop to get punlic transport to Venice was only 7 minutes walk . Breakfast was ok. Didn't allow us to have a coffee or extra coffee sachets / creamer to make a coffee when we approched the hotel before the brrakfast beigins in the morning. We had a mixed feeling about this hotel.

Loved this quaintness of this hotel. It’s so close to Marco Polo airport. It’s older but maintained beautifully. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast for 10euros worth it. I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

I love this property and will always return, I just wish they would repair their broken outdoor furniture, it makes the place look "shabby"... otherwise everything else was fabulous!

This hotel was conveniently located for our airport departure and had a shuttle available at a cost. It would have been nice to have a little bar or snack service onsite but they did have a shuttle to a nearby restaurant in the evening. We walked to get pizza and this was only about a 15-20 min walk. The lights would turn off when you plugged in the hair dryer or the kettle but it was a simple convenient stay and the staff were very pleasant.

Property was definitely older but it was clean and close to the airport. We arrived quite late at night so called for a shuttle service, they arrived within 5 mins! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just okay- I don’t think it was worth the additional cost. We did enjoy the use of the indoor pool and sauna before going to the airport in the morning!

Quick and pleasant service from Marco Polo airport to and from Airport. There isn’t an onsite bar or restaurant only a breakfast buffet. BUT the hotel does provide fast and free transportation to an amazing restaurant ‘ Torre Antica sri ‘. Which is a beautifully designed establishment with truly exceptional food. Don’t be put off by reception calling it a pizzeria is much more than that. Torte Antica was the highlight for us on this leg of our trip from Spain to Venice. We had a good night sleep at the hotel before our flight back to the US.

The property was nice and clean. A little aged with floors creaking and no hot water. Wait and clean staff are nice, polite and friendly except for the front desk staff, he can be more warm and friendlier. We chose this hotel coz they said Shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes but it wasn't available when we arrived at the airport and we were told by the person at the front desk to look for our own transportation (In flight for 9 hours, first time in this country and doesn't speak the language, he made it sound easy). We made it eventually. Same person at the desk sold us bus tickets to Venice for €2 / ticket when ticket says €1.50/ticket only. Probably won't go back.

We stayed one night to fly out early morning, which is probably why most people are here. Hotel is a convenient 20-min walk from airport and offers shuttle (need to pay). Room was comfortable. Staff were very nice. We did not use anything/eat on property, so can’t really say. Overall good for a few hours sleep.

Overall a very good location for those with travel departures from the Venice Airport. Shuttle operates around the clock for transfers to the airport. Shuttle is also offered for free transfers to restaurants in the area. Room has a very rustic feel. Unfortunately, electrical outlets in the room were damaged. Repairs performed the next day. Coffee and juices are offered between 0300 and 0600 for those with very early departures.

Perfect place to stay to catch an early flight out of Venice. Close to the airport. Friendly staff. Very comfortable and clean room. The shuttle was available in the morning.
