What a wonderful stylish hotel where the staff can never do enough for you, sure it isn’t cheap, but look at its location. My only advice would be to get breakfast included as it is expensive, oh and if you like coffee in the morning and are not prepared to pay for room service, take a kettle and coffee!

Very Impressive Hotel on St Mark's Square

Pros: Very nicely presented with pattern matched marble, soft furnished walls within plaster mouldings, spacious rooms.
Cons: Bedding is firm and the bed is formed of side by side matresses. There is heating or AC dependant on the season but there was no window ventilation.
Location: Situated on the west corner of St Mark's square with a gondola dock and also very close to San Marco boat piers.
Staff are atttentive and friendly. The hotel is very well presented and luxurious. The room is stunning and very Venetian. The bed was firm for us and there are two matresses making the double bed so there is a seam to navigate ( keep on our own side :) ). The age of the hotel (oldest one in Venice I read somehwhere but you would never know) is such that there is either heat or AC depending on season so we found it hot in our room without windows that open. There are no coffee or tea making facilities and I think this is typical for the region and there is a room service cover charge of 10 Euros per person but food and drink are all reasonably priced and there are nice places everywhere to eat and or drink. When you exit the hotel there is a gondola dock and then the west entrace to St Marks Square so this is be best one for location by far. Also San Marco boat dock is very close so it is easy to access evreything. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend this Hotel. BTW take waterproof shoes as the streets do submerge at high tide.

We stayed at Baglioni during our trip to Venice for our anniversary. I had pre ordered champagne and roses before hand that were presented beautifully in the room upon arrival & had also enquired aout museum tickets which had been pre purchased for me too. Exceptional staff, really lovely and friendly. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Lovely Break Away!

Took my partner here for 6 days as a surprise treat for her 30th birthday. What better romantic location i could have selected than this beautiful grand place! I arranged a concierge transfer, so from the moment we landed at Marco Polo airport, we were chauffeured to the pier with full luggage assistance & escorted by water taxi straight to the hotel. The moment we arrived we were greeted & treated like royals throughout our entire stay, by all hotel staff who were always wonderful, friendly, helpful, cheerful & hospitable. After the first night my partner discovered that one of the shower taps in our junior suite room which had a double shower did not work properly. She reported this to them to which a plumber came & repaired impromptu. To our amazement we received a call from the hotel manager the next morning who upgraded us to a Double En Suite as a token of apology. What outstanding service could you receive better?. The food was amazing, the people in San Marco were delightful, the gondola trip was fantastic, the historical buildings were fascinating & the museums & San Piazzo palace were highly educational & interesting. We spent a lot of time walking around the squares of San Marco, San Croce & Castello visiting different landmarks & restaurants. One thing i'll say is you cannot go to Venice & go hungry nor thirsty as the number & variety of restaurants, cafes & bars there are all over the place is phenomenal. I can't lie it was a very expensive trip! However, well worth the money for the memories most especially for my beautiful girlfriend who thoroughly enjoyed herself! Would definitely recommend to anybody.

Wedding in Venice

An absolute gem of a Hotel. We stayed there for a week - arrived on Monday- married on Friday. The staff were so kind & helpful & treated us like VIPs - felt so special. They gave us 2 bottles of prosecco to wish us a happy wedding. The hotel itself was beautiful- 5 star luxury. The Suite was spacious. The breakfast room is like dining in The Ritz. Also, the location is superb- a few minutes walk from San Marco square, restaurants, shops, bars. Rialto Bridge is a ten minute walk. Highly recommend a stay there. Will definately return. It was amazing to stay there. Loved every moment!

Great hotel in a perfect location

The staff were amazing throughout our stay. The hotel is beautiful and the room was a perfect size (junior suite). Although it was expensive, it was worth it as the hotel is located in the perfect spot.

Romantic Break

The hotel was excellent, location was fabulous, staff were very efficient. The room was very clean and we thought the change of room with fresh towels etc n the evening was excellent idea. The only thing I have to mention is there was no complimentry tea or coffee in the room for our leisure. We enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the evening or in the morning. But overall the hotel was excellent and we enjoyed our holiday.
