Seemed great when we checked in, but we were on the ground floor and the four oer more people in the next room partied until 3 a.m.and were repeatedly going in and out to smoke. My spouse fell asleep, miraculously, but I did not sleep at all. I did nit want to wake her up, so I just stayed awake. To report the noise I would have had to pass the room, and they were playing music with violent lyrics. The room looked clean at first, but we saw drops of what appeared to be blood on the floor. When I mentioned the loud noise and scariness next door to the front desk in the morning, the person just shrugged.

Overall a very good stay. We didn't manage to have a very good sleep with the ac blower and noisy people outdoors. Would have like a few amenities ie face soap and lotion.

We needed a room for the day. We went on a cruise and were off the ship at 9:30am but our flight wasn't until 11:30pm. We were able to get into the room early which was a blessing as we had all our luggage. The shuttle to and from airport was a plus.The restauranr on the premises was good and staff very friendly. Overall a very good experience.

A decent choice for an overnight before or after travel through YVR. This property falls into the category of using cute personality and charming extras (that you likely won't use) to make up for basic budget accommodations. Hotel prices are so inflated in Vancouver and it's unfortunate we have to pay luxury prices for basic accommodations. Pros are easy access to YVR, free easy parking close to your room, clean rooms. In short, it's a solid choice but overpriced like all Van hotels. Try not to be swayed but the cutesy extras like a free rubber duckie, giant outdoor games, free bike rentals (I saw 1 in the rack and where would you ride in this neighborhood of many lanes of traffic and box shops anyway?), lounge that looked shabby and uninviting. There are some restaurants and such nearby but you'll want to drive. Staff are courteous.

So old property, I plugged my hair dryer to the bathroom outlet (same voltage as Canada), but the outlet was so old and flimsy, that damaged my hair dryer, it started smoking! I told the problem to staff, after few days they said outlet is fine, and manager refused to reimburse me for the hair dryer! so cheap management! Also, they had construction at the end of the wing, which waked us up at early morning! other side of the wing also is near street and very noisy! Save your money and go somewhere else.
