The Casement Cottage

Castle-like home nestled between Pinehurst No. 2 and the Village Chapel.
If you are looking for comfort, location and history in one spot this is the place for you! European style Casement Cottage built in 1920 by the first internationally famous Hall of Fame woman golfer, Dorothy Campbell Hurd(born in Scotland)!
Central location with little distance to the Pinehurst Country Club and the Historic Village shops. It has five spacious bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. Two master suites to choose from- one upstairs and one downstairs. In addition to the beautiful original spiral staircase there is another simple staircase from the kitchen for guests’ convenience. Located on a beautiful and spacious corner lot with a patio for outdoor grilling and entertainment. Historical guests include F. Scott Fitzgerald!

Great Weekend in Pinehurst
This property was perfect for our family reunion. The location is walking distance from Pinehurst Village and several restaurants. It is a short drive to the resort and Golf Hall of Fame. The house is excellent with five bedrooms and each with a private bath. Kitchen is recently remodeled and there is plenty of room for groups to gather.

Awesome house. Super close to the golf course. Like 2 min away. Spacious, clean, and convenient. Had everything we needed. Great stay after a little trouble getting the code. It was like slicing off the drive and the rest was fantastic and you get a birdie. We’ll take a mulligan anyway and will stay here again!

Perfect home for us as we had 8 golfers and that is what it is best set up for. Location is awesome. Walked to Pinehurst main club and putting greens. As well as to the Village and restaurant's and pubs.

My husband and I stayed here with some of our friends for a long weekend. The house is nicer than in the pictures and was equipped with everything that we needed. It is a short walking distance from downtown Pinehurst. We would stay here again for sure.

Best golf getaway that you can find!
The place had tons of room for all eight of us. We loved being able to just walk to the golf course and just play all day. Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a wonderful feature that came in handy more than you would think. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone I know.

Terrific really.....booked for a 60th birthday spa outing and weekend. Whole group was comfortable, had their space but could come together in very welcoming indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Would certainly book again.

A Gem in the Village
For our annual trip to Pinehurst this year, we found this gem in the village. Location, location, location...very close to the Pinehurst Resort (as well as all of the great restaurants in town) and great golf courses. This place has all the comforts of home...including a game room with poker table, shuffleboard, flat screen TV,, and corn hole. All 5 guys had their own bedroom / bathroom. which makes for very happy campers.

US Kids Golf Tourney weekend
Great location and perfect for 2 families of 4 traveling together! The house was clean and check in and check out were very easy. We loved being able to walk to The Village, The Cradle and The Carolina. Although the location is perfect it was a bit loud, at times, with trains and cars passing through and an automatic light outside a bedroom that came on/off consistently during the night. This would not keep me from renting this house in the future! Kitchen could use a few more utensils (bowls, plates, etc.). We would definitely stay here again!

Great house, great location
Everything was excellent. Loved the historic home that has been updated to current standards. The home is easily walking distance to historic Pinehurst. My only con’s were: 1) no bath mats and minimal hand towels, and 2) the silverware was almost non-existent.
