Wonderful cabin
Impressive cabin. Everyone said the beds were very comfortable. It took the fridge a day or so to get cold on highest setting but no issue. Thank you again

This cabin has seen better days
We have stayed at about ten different Starr Crest cabins over the years and this one was by far the worst we ever rented. The cabin has clearly been neglected and has seen better days. The furniture is old and broken, nothing has been updated in what looks like thirty years, the faucets don't work properly, the toilets all run constantly, the kitchen faucet drips constantly, the ac in the main bedrooms didn't work and they were miserably hot, the fireplace in the main room didn't work (not that we would have wanted to use it this trip because the bedrooms were so hot, the hot tub wouldn't get warm and the jets wouldn't work, the carpets were super gross and stained and we wouldn't dare touch them with our bare feet, the cabin looks so dingy and gross even if the cabin was spotless it wouldn't have looked clean, the linens were gross looking, and the outdoor furniture was splintered and unfit to sit in. Overall this cabin needs A LOT of work and until then should NOT be rented. Gross. Gross. Gross.

Weekend trip
The property was very nice, and the views were amazing. I am only giving it 3 stars because we did have an issue with the AC. The AC was not working on the top floor so some of our party had to sleep in the Basement. This caused the middle floor to be hot as well and the bedrooms on that floor to be uncomfortable for sleeping. We weren't at the cabin long during the day it just made for an uncomfortable night sleeping for some.

Some disappointment
The hot tub had a film that seemed unclean. Nobody wanted to use it. The clothes dryer does not work. The dart board needed batteries so we went to get them only to find out that none of the darts were usable. The beds are not very comfortable, it’s like sleeping on box springs. On the end we were disappointed.

New Year's Family Vaycay
Overall it was a great experience. Not to far from local attractions. The property was clean and looked as described online. We had an issue with plumbing, but the property manager was there within 30 min to fix it. The washing machine didn't work. That was a bit of an inconvenience as we ran out of clean towels. But my family and I had a great stay and were fortunate enough to have a great view of the fireworks every night.

Good family spot
The location was good and convenient. I was worried about having a scary drive but this was not bad. It does need a deep clean and could use some updating particularly in the kitchen as the oven is somewhat broken but functioning and I saw that on an old review. Ease of getting everywhere in town was a big plus and a good value for the price. We had a minor issue with a toilet and someone came out immediately so responsiveness was great.

Great Thanksgiving Vacation
We enjoyed the place immensely. Since we had a large family this was the ideal location for our Thanksgiving get away. The view of the Smoky's was spectacular especially from the second and third floors. The managers were very responsive when told that there didn't seem to be a broom and supplied us with one quickly. As mentioned by others, the dressers and bedside tables were old and somewhat worn from previous renters abuse, but, there were plenty of drawers and they were clean and useable. The refrigerator was plenty large to hold pre- made and brought Thanksgiving meal dishes and the leftovers after Thanksgiving. As we were packing the vehicles the night before leaving, we even had a short visit by a couple of Black bears lazily walking in the neighborhood which excited the kids and scared the parents and grandparents. All in all a great time.

We were actually very disappointed...
We'll start with the good news...the view was fabulous!!! The cabin was extremely old with absolutely no updates since, what looks like the 70's. All the furniture is worn and tired. All the stuffing is completely gone. The mattresses seemed to never have been changed. They were worn so badly that my husband and I fell in to the center. This was the same in the other master suite as well. The master baths consisted of a teeny shower, a single, small vanity and a humongous jetted tub, which was useless. The showers all had mold growing and we had to clean them as well as we could before using them. In the basement, the foosball table, the ping pong paddles and the darts were all broken. The kitchen faucet is broken and the dishwasher was hanging on one screw. We wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
