Welcome to Granola Bear Cabin! This brand new build cabin has a fully stocked kitchen to cook all your meals, a private indoor pool, and provides high-quality sheets, towels, and comforts of home. This is the perfect cabin to sit back and relax with friends, or have a fun getaway with family or explore the area! From relaxing in the living room with peaceful wooded views, to cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. This smokey cabin will make any vacation memorable! YOU WILL NOT WANT TO LEAVE THESE VIEWS!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 1. What does the kitchen include? - The kitchen is fully stocked with normal kitchen items plus a crock-pot, rice cooker, roasting pan, waffle maker, toaster, blender, Keurig, tea kettle, various size pots & pans, turkey baster, mixing bowls, glass pie pan, and baking sheets.
2. Do you provide any baby items? - We provide a pack-n-play in one of the bedroom closets, a high chair and children's serving utensils.
3. Are pets allowed? - Yes, up to two dogs are allowed.
4. Do you provide a grill? - Yes. There is a gas grill outside.
5. What linens are included? - We provide linens for beds, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and pool towels.
6. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? - Yes. The hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled after every stay.
7. Is there a fire place? - Yes. There is a fire place in the living room and in one of the bedrooms.
8. What time is check-in and check-out? Check in is at 4pm and checkout is 10am. We provide contactless check in and checkout.
9. Where is the nearest airport? The nearest airport to the cabin is McGhee Tyson airport in Knoxville.
10. How many parking spaces are there? The parking area in front of the house can accommodate 4 cars.
11. Do you decorate for the holidays? Yes. We decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving until January.
12. Do you need four-wheel drive? In Winter months four wheel drive might be needed at times, but the county is very good at clearing the main road to cabin.
13. What is the temperature of the private, indoor heated pool? The temperature of the pool is 80-81 degrees.
14. Is the waterfall in the pool room operational? It is not. It is for decoration ONLY!
15. Do you provide toiletries? We provide starter rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. It is the guest’s responsibility to provide these after the starter quantities run out.
16. In case of a power outage, does the cabin have a backup energy source (generator)? Unfortunately, this cabin is not equipped with a backup generator.

Great place to stay!

Property is close to town but far enough out to have great views! Host was easily accessible and prompt at responding to any questions. Property is very well maintained and has one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve experienced. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it. Linens are nice and plentiful. Beds are perfect as well. Would definitely recommend!

Property itself was good location and plenty of room. Was a family Christmas vacation,so felt let down when promise of decorated consisted of a Christmas tree. No wreath,no mantle...and again,being a stay inside Christmas vacation was extremely upset when 3 of the 6 games in arcade room didnt work. Owner was notified at beginning of stay,was never looked at for duration of our stay. You could see that dishes were not dried from dishwasher when last put away. Other minor cleaning issues that would have been overlooked if everything else was delivered as advertised. Extremely disappointed with service especially considering the price I paid. Could and should have been so much nicer. Will look for different place next year

A home away from home

We had a great overall experience, it was better then advertised. Beautiful Cabin with beautiful decor. We had 7 children and 4 adults and everyone slept comfortably. Would definitely do it agian and highly recommend.

Family vacation

This cabin was wonderful! It had plenty of space and enough rooms for everyone. We had 4 children under the age of 3 and it was able to accommodate them. We did have to use baby gates on the stair but they loved the pool. The only thing that was noticeable was the floors were a little dirty, and there was no broom. Small vacuum present but it didn’t pick up much. Overall checking in was easy and getting a hold of the host was easy as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Has everything you need to just stay in, and close to everything if you want to go out

We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and this place was great, had plenty of room and lots to do.. pool table was a hit for the kids...us adults played the retro video game. Pool was fun for all of us. The house was stocked with everything you need for a stay. Very close to everything in Pigeon Forge.

Awesome location and great amenities!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The indoor pool was a hit with everyone. The cabin was overall very clean and spacious. There were many attractions within 10 minutes of the cabin. We will definitely stay again when we're in the area.

Everybody in my family had a wonderful time in Granola Bear. There was something for everyone to do and that's great with a group from 70ish to 9 years of age.The swimming pool, the game room and the pool table were all enjoyed by all. We would love staying here again.

Very good communication with owners , however I did think the property could have been cleaner due to finding clothes from prior renters in one of the bedrooms at time of check in . Pool had several dead small scorpions in it and two of the bedrooms had red glitter on bedsheets. Other than those issues cabin is beautiful owners was awesome for communication and family really enjoyed our stay

This property worked very well for my family. The kids loved the pool and game room. Grown ups loved the views. The only issue we had with the property is that you could hear every sound in the house. Not very sound proof. Overall it was a very lovely stay and if we go back to pigeon Forge we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing place!

We are an intergenerational group...grandparents, our 2 children and spouses, 4 grandchildren. This place had something for everyone. Close to all attractions and the national forest. We swam in the pool every day, used the hot tub, and the arcade games were free and amazing! The men in the group loved the game selections, Golden Tee, Mortal Kombat II, Street Fighter II, Rush, as well as Pac Man, Frogger, Burger Time and the pool table! The kids loved Lady Bug and Ms Pacman. The 3 sets of adults had our own bedroom (and bathroom), the kids loved the queen bunk beds! View from the deck is gorgeous, especially sunsets. Great kitchen and living room area. The 3 levels made it possible to get away from the group if you wanted to. The game "barrel" upstairs was a nice option when the pool area gameroom was busy. We barely watched TV as there was so much to do in the house and in Pigeon Forge. The hosts thought of everything...laundry soap, dishwasher soap, huge variety of k-cups plus a full pot of coffee option! The place was clean and the host responsive to our few questions. I HIGHLY recommend Granola Bear! We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one was the best by far!

Great place!

This is a wonderful property. The view is great and it’s within 15 minutes of all the activities that pigeon forge has to offer. The owners were very quick to respond if we had any needs. The kids LOVED the indoor pool.

Great for families!

I think this is our favorite cabin in pigeon forge! The indoor pool was great! And so were the arcades! The cabin still smells new! We loved the large gathering area and the fact the bedrooms were on the same floor together. Night John boy! Pictures just don’t do it justice!

Wonderfull stay!!!

We have stayed at several cabins in the area and for our larger group this was no doubt the favorite. The kids (ages 7 and 9) absolutely loved it. The owners thought of everything from gates to block stairs to even a dog crate if needed (although we brought our own). We will definitely try to book this cabin when we come next time. We want to thank the owners for making our trip so enjoyable.

We have stayed at many many cabins in this area and this one was by far the best. The amenities were great, clean and we could tell alot of thought was put into the details of the cabin unlike many others we have stayed at. Also communcation with the property manager was great and quick. Would stay again for sure.

"I'm bored", was never said !!!

This cabin was EVERYTHING that I could have dreamed of !! Everyone, aged 7 - 65 had a wonderful stay. So much to do there, and I NEVER heard those dreaded words,"I'm bored" !!! Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was amazing. The arcade room with Golden Tee was a big hit and the indoor pool was nice and warm. Couldn't have asked for a better location, and owners were very responsive to inquiries.
