Please help prevent it by closing entry doors when not in use. Lastly, it is not uncommon to encounter wildlife animals, such as bears while staying in cabins in the Smoky Mountains. Please keep your distance. Close your car windows and lock the doors. Do not leave food in the car or unattended outside the cabin.

Quiet Getaway
The cabin is conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but high enough to get away from all the noise and traffic and get a beautiful Mountain View. Communication from the host was very timely especially since we booked it within three days of arriving.

Beautiful weekend stay
The host was super responsive. The location is beautiful, literally amongst trees on a hill side, the roads uphill were a bit of an adventure doing it the first time, but totally doable. The cabin was well equipped, the seating on both sides of the house was very much appreciated, as it was lovely to sit on either side, depending on where the sun came from. Would totally come back if in the area again!

Perfect Long Weekend!
The cabin was just as described. It is in a perfect location away from the main parkway, but not too far up into the mountains. The view off the back deck is just like the pictures! Only a 10 minute drive into Pigeon Forge for all of those attractions, or 10 minutes into Gatlinburg to shop the strip. Plenty of starter amenities - more than in other cabins we’ve been in! Fast WiFi! Very clean, and everything in working order! The kids loved having the big loft with the football table. This cabin is at the top of our list for our next visit to the Smokies!

Perfect cabin
We enjoyed this cabin! This was our favorite vacation it was so relaxing. It was just what we were looking for and more. The location is absolutely perfect. Centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You didn't have to drive far to get anywhere. We loved being up in the mountains to get the view. The cabin was perfect for our family. Our two boys loved the loft area with their own TV and foosball table and we could have our own area away from them to relax! The kitchen had everything you would need. The decorations were lovely. We will definitely come back to this cabin and recommend it to anyone in the future. Simply perfect!

We loved the cabin; comfy, clean, and beautiful. It has everything you need to stay out of your home and still feel at home. The owner, Brad, is always available to give detailed explanations about the cabin and more. It is highly recommended! Dora Leyva

November stay
The only downside we found are the beds are stiff and hard as a rock. The roads are just as described by the owner. Get there before dark for your first time. The view is amazing from the patio and the hot tub was perfect! We had everything we needed.

Amazing
The cabin was just as described, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need for short trip or to get you started if you were staying the whole week. The road up was a little tricky, but Brad provided step by step instructions and was kind enough to give a heads up about arriving before dark the first day. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely cabin, way in the woods
We found the cabin to be extremely clean, comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the bear decorating theme (unfortunately those were the only bears we saw all week!). The hot tub and the foosball game were nice bonuses.

Breathtaking Views from the balcony
Ohana Bear Hugs was a phenomenal place for our family to return to the Smoky Mountains! We were here for our daughters National Dance Competition but wanted to add in extra time to spend hiking, family friendly shows, and having our downtime spent at this beautiful cabin with Mountain View’s that make you feel deep peace in your body. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are games we found in the cabinet/hutch located in the living room too. The drive up to the cabin does take some getting used to. It has some steep hills, but the views once your up are all worth it! We even saw a bear on our last drive out of the community which made everyone’s day! Brad was awesome and checked in on us a few times. Our daughters dancing time got extended and he was able to offer us an extra day. It was so helpful and we were relieved that we didn’t have to find accommodations somewhere else for one day. Our kids loved the cabin and so did we. Wonderful family memories were made!

Great Cabin to "get away" to but still close.
Ohana Bear Hugs really felt like it was on top of the mountain, but is centered perfectly close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My family had a great 5 day stay at this property. Its a nice quite cabin with wildlife everywhere, even had a bear near the cabin on our last night. Brad was real helpful making sure we got checked in and out easily.

Great cabin!
The place was beautiful and very easy to check into. Brad checked on us often to make sure things were going good and to see if we had any questions. The only downfall to the place is that it is high up into a mountain and is hard to get up at night or if you don't have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Other than that no complaints and would rent again in the future!
