The cabin is located in a gated community at the edge of the Smoky Mountain National Park, with the fun of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg close by. If you need additional supplies during your stay head to the local Market, Publix, or Kroger (< 15 minutes away).

Reservation includes seasonal access to Honeysuckle Meadows Pool, Pond, and Deli & Grill.
The pool is part of an RV resort and campground in Wears Valley (20 minutes from the cabin). The pass includes a fishing permit at the catch & release pond. Fishing poles and live bait are available for sale (based on availability).

Guest access the property via personal door code which will be provided on the day of check-in.

Parking for a total of three vehicles in the driveway.

Location
Located in a secluded, gated community, guests will enjoy wide, easy-access roads, proximity to the National Park as well as the convenience of being a short drive into town.

Walden's Retreat in the Woods is only 15 minutes away from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

To access the National Park, you can avoid the Parkway, by traveling via the "back way" through Wears Valley, located just minutes away.

NO treacherous mountain roads. To get to the cabin, you will drive through picturesque roads surrounded by farms and mountains. The property is located on the side of an inclined road and we recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter season.

Other things to note
We are happy to welcome you to our home. We want you to feel at home and ask that you please be respectful:

- No parties, events or large gatherings. Only disclosed guests are allowed on the property.

- No smoking, vaping or burning of anything inside or outside the cabin.

- No pets.

- Minimum rental age is 25.

- Check-in after 4PM

-Guest must provide a copy of a government-issued photo ID and agree to house rules to receive the door code. Reservation will be canceled if these are not provided.

-The house is located in a luxurious gated mountain community. We love our neighbors and ask that you respect their privacy and right to peacefully enjoy their residences. Quiet hours 10:00pm - 8:00am.

-There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaners only come between guests.

-Front entrance is monitored with security cameras that record when motion is detected. There are NO cameras on the decks or inside the house.

-We are unable to accommodate cancellations due to medical emergency, weather or other reasons outside of the agreed-upon cancellation policy. We recommend travel insurance for this purpose.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Waldens Creek. Enjoy features like a water park, a spa tub, and an arcade/game room. The vacation home includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

Great hillside cabin in the woods. A black bear came behind the cabin daily and munched on the foliage. Wonderful game room with a balcony. Rear of the house faces east which allow you to use the decks. Need to go back when the leaves are turning.

My family absolutely loved this place!!! I don’t even know where to start. We walked in and it was super clean. Beds were very comfortable and clean. We had fun playing games and relaxing in the hot tub. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place!
We loved our stay for a long weekend. The house was very clean!!! Even the hot tub was sparkling!! 👏👏 (The windows could use a cleaning from the outside but that was not an issue). The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space inside and even on the porches. Monika was very quick to respond to us and offered info to better our stay. Highly recommend!!

Great Location and Beautiful Views
The cabin is nestled in a gated community about 15 mins from Pigeon forge and 30-40 from Gatlinburg. Views are great from the cabin. All amenities worked great. The road to the cabin is steep so if ice/snow are expected on your journey I would guess you need atleast an AWD vehicle.

Best Family cabin ever!!
I could write a short story on the cabin. But I’ll keep it simple it was beautiful,clean & stocked with anything you may need including coffee!! The hot tub a view was perfect! Omg the upstairs was the best! We have kids ages 19,13 & 3 along with my daughters boyfriend who is 17 and we had the best time ever…if I could change anything would be your dates….Stay a week!!!

Wish I could give more than five stars
Our family of six (B18, B15, G13, G8) spent five days and four nights at this property. We absolutely loved everything about it. The property is wonderful with so many great personal touches. Our entire family loved the hot tub, game room, and wrap around deck. Received a visit on our porch one morning from a mama bear and her two cubs. The property is 15 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes to Dollywood. Super convenient to everything the area has to offer. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out. Great dining room table board games. Loved making s’mores on the deck. Monika was a great host and responsive to all questions. Plan on coming back despite the 10 hour drive (came from Michigan).

Perfect cozy cabin for our family!
The cabin was in a perfect location but yet secluded enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains! We loved the cabin, the kids loved the game room and I loved how clean and functional it was. We spent most of our days exploring but always enjoyed coming back to the cabin to relax, enjoy the hot tub and sit on the porches. Perfect family cabin! Will definitely book it again the next time we make the trek from Texas! Side: the host is very very communicative and kind! Just an extra perk!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was beautiful. Everything we needed was there. Views were amazing. Kids were comfortable and had numerous activities to entertain them. Close drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and also near groceries and Pigeon Forge activities. Wish we could've stayed longer. We even saw a mama bear and cubs foraging in the woods nearby!

The cabin was wonderful and perfect for our family. The living area was very comfortable and the 3 bedrooms allowed for privacy. Monika was very helpful and informative. Cozy, clean cabin - great location!
We had a lovely stay at the cabin despite the weather! Great place to unwind after a long day exploring the local sights - spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the video games, ping pong and hot tub. Location was close to lots of activities but still quiet and did not have the treacherous driveaway we noticed some other places had! Lovely family vacation!

Absolute Gem!!
This cabin is absolutely perfect!! You can tell that the owner puts a lot of love into this property. It is beautifully decorated, with every space well thought out. It feels spacious, but cozy at the same time. It has everything you need for the perfect getaway, and Monika is very quick to respond if you have any questions. It’s so peaceful sitting out on either deck enjoying the beautiful views. We were even lucky enough to spot a bear crossing the road on the way out!! Book this property. You won’t regret it!

Great Family Getaway
This was the perfect Cabin for our family vacation to Tennessee! The cabin was beautiful and in a quiet, peaceful setting. The cabin was very clean and provided the needed escape for our kids after spending days out. It was perfectly located and not far from anything (15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes from Dollywood). We found a food truck park in Wears Valley about 10 minutes away which was a great discovery! The host was great and was quick to give suggestions for local ideas and answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay!

Awesome stay
Had a great time visiting Pigeon Forge. The drive up to the cabin and driveway can be a little intimidating, but it’s built into the side of the mountain so what do you expect. The property was just as described, very cozy. Owner was very responsive and offered to send someone for the minor things I mentioned that were wrong. Overall a great stay and would definitely consider staying again and/or highly recommend. Thanks Monika for sharing your wonderful place.
