Big Blue Ridge is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin located on a private acre only minutes from the main road in Pigeon Forge. Enjoy the wooded mountain views from the hot tub or while cooking on the propane grill on the upper level of two spacious decks.

The primary bedroom on the upper level has a king bed, vaulted ceilings, and a ceiling fan. Its private bathroom includes an over-sized jetted tub and walk-in shower. Also on the upper level is a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and a half bath. The dining table seats 8 with room for 2 more at the peninsula of the fully equipped kitchen.

The 2 king bedrooms on the lower level each have an attached bathroom with a shower/tub combination. A pool table and bunkbed are located in the game room which is also on the 1st floor. Each of the five smart TV's in the cabin come with HBO Max. Big Blue Ridge is located in Shagbark. This gated community offers an outdoor seasonal pool, pickleball, tennis and basketball courts, a small playground, outdoor games, and a half mile walking trail by the creek. You will love this well-furnished cabin!

Big Blue Ridge is only minutes from Pigeon Forge, 9 miles from The Island, 14 miles from Dollywood, 13 miles from the less crowded Wears Valley (or Wears Cove) entrance to the park, and about 18 miles from the main park entrance. After a day of excitement and activities, you'll feel refreshed and relaxed back at Big Blue Ridge!

Don’t Miss This 5 Star + Property

Nestled near the top of a beautiful mountain is a gem of a vacation home. Beautifully decorated and clean as a pin, this property checks all the boxes! The gas fireplace kept us cozy during a snowstorm that extended our stay. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with during the storm. The master had a super comfy bed and quality linens equal to my Boll and Branch. The kitchen had service for 15 plus, along with essential spices. Everything necessary to prepare meals in quality pots and pans or outside on the grill. The hot tub was sparkling clean and easy to use. This home can be cozy for two or fun for a very large family. We hope to return to this mountain retreat with more family members. We got to see three bears on arrival and we were visited by a raccoon on the second floor! Book this rental, you won’t be sorry.

A wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving

My cousins and I planned this trip for our Nana after our grandpa passed in July, as her first trip without him AND her first trip in over 40 years. She has been unable to travel due to tending to his businesses and then caring for him as he aged. Since she had never been to the mountains, so we thought this cabin was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving week with her and our families...and it was just that! Even though the curves and climb up to the cabin gave us a little anxiety, the view made it all worth it! We loved all the little thoughtful amenities in the cabin too, like plenty of blow dryers, games, towels, and even sugar for coffee! The hosts were wonderful and quick to respond also! We had a slow drain in one of the baths and within minutes, the handyman was scheduled to come fix it a few hours later, while we were out enjoying our day (but only if we were comfortable with not being there). We never questioned our safety during our stay either, with the gated entry into the community, staffed security, and a secure check in process. If you're looking for a cozy and beautiful cabin nestled in the Smoky Mountains, where you can stay comfortably with 6 other members of your family and make wonderful memories, this cabin can do just that. :)

Awesome family vacation

We had an amazing vacation, never a dull moment. We went to Anakeesta, Dollywood and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We saw 5 bears in 2 separate locations. The drive up the mountain to get to the cabin was a little bit challenging but we didn’t have any problems with it. The cabin very comfortably fit our family of 8 (6 adults 2 children). It was nice that each bedroom had an en suite. We also made great use of the hot tub, it was especially nice after getting over 20,000 steps in both Dollywood and the National Park. We definitely recommend this cabin.

A Wonderful Vacation with Friends & Our Kids

We had an incredible stay here. The hosts were incredibly detailed and responsive before and during our stay. There were so many tiny details that made this great for kids - tons of family games, baby gates, carefully placed items, a front yard, a playground & community area for the neighborhood, gated security, tubs and plenty of bathrooms, pool table, step stools, enclosed deck spaces, Roku, fast internet, etc. We were rained in one day and had ZERo problems keeping 4 kids 6 and under entertained and safe allll day! The property is beautiful, well maintained, clean and private. It actually has a front yard. Something that I've not seen many places in the mountains have (huge plus for littles!). it is also has dual thermostats - a huge plus! It was designed great for separate spaces, larger families, or groups of friends traveling with kids. There's an upstairs bedroom/bath and then two full bedrooms downstairs (all with huge King beds that are super comfy), bunk beds, and bathrooms in each room. It made sharing space extremely easy! Will absolutely stay again!

Family Vacation

We had a great stay. Cabin was great. Plenty of room. The gas grill was a great amenity, we cooked steaks and burgers. We encounter lots of wild life including a bear that wanted to climb the front steps. We loved the mountain drive up to the cabin. We would stay here again. Thank you for being a great host.

Beautiful and well stocked!

Had everything you would need! Loved that each bedroom had their own private bath! Pool table, hot tub, LOTS of games, tv's in every bedroom, LRm and game room! And if you keep your eyes open, you can see wildlife in your front yard! We had bears, raccoon, bobcat and more to visit us! Loved our stay!

Incredible Home, Views and Stay!

We had an exceptional get away with my parents and kiddos. The pictures do not do this home and property justice! It is lovely, spacious and everything was thought of to make our stay extra special. Even with two days of rain and cold weather we had a great time relaxing and spending time together. The beds were incredible and the thoughtful decor reflected the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Just a short drive to the National park, grocery stores, shops and parkway we had easy access to everything and a wonderful stay. We will absolutely be returning! Thank you for such an awesome experience!

Fabulous cabin

This is a must see cabin! The pictures on the website are exactly what you get. Except the views need to be seen in person! Cabin was very clean, decor was well done, amenities (from coffeemakers, spices, dishes, gas grill, hot tub, games, Roku TV, etc) were well done! We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood (steep hills are no joke), family games in the evening by the fireplace, dinner from the grill, bourbon on the deck, and much more! There was plenty of room for our family get together! Thanks!

Smoky Mountain Thanksgiving

We enjoyed staying at this property. The view and hot tub were nice. The kitchen was roomy and pretty well stocked. The beds were very high and some in our party enjoyed the cushy mattress toppers and some did not, preferring something a little more firm. The drive up to the cabin was long. But it was a private area. We saw turkey, deer and 1 bear. Overall we had a great time.

We loved this cabin! It was spacious, clean and well stocked- even better than the pictures. The owners were very responsive. Pay attention to the house description that says it is a mountain road, because that is no joke. And make sure to screenshot your gate barcode before you get there. We lost cell service for a while nearing the cabin, but had no wifi issues on the property. We absolutely recommend this rental.

Peace & Serenity

The cabin was perfect for our stay and we had a fabulous time! The kitchen has every amenity you could want. The place is well taken care of and decorated perfectly for a cabin in the woods :). The location is in a gated community, which was nice and private, and felt very safe. Saw mamma bear and 4 cubs come through the property on multiple days, passing through as we sat on the deck enjoying the sunset and view! The hot tub was a pleasant end to every day and the fireplace gave the right touch in the evenings. The beds are super comfy, you feel like royalty in the plush comfort! The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. A great place and highly recommend!

More steps than expected

Will look for main floor ground level next stay if older family stays with us. Sister drove 8 hrs planning to stay entire time. When they saw all the necessary steps they returned home without staying a night.

Wonderful Vacation

The property is just as pictured and described. The owners are very easy to deal with and respond very quickly. The beds are the most comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans. The view is more than you can imagine. We saw turkey's, bear cubs and other wild life. I was uneasy about being in a resort but we had no issues. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cabin was very clean and location was great with total privacy. My only recommendation would be to add a window cover to the upstairs bedroom. We woke up early every morning because of the sunlight from the skylight.

Wonderful getaway

We spent 5 days at this cabin at the end of June. There were two families, a total of 8 people, in our party. We had plenty of space and enjoyed being able to spend time together in the family room and during meals. The hosts were great to work with and responded quickly to messages. The views are beautiful and we spotted a lot of wildlife. Definitely recommend this cabin to others!

Memories last forever!

The cabin was clean and accommodating. Plenty of space for 2 families to spend time together. We all enjoyed the pool and the activities available! It takes about 15 minutes to get up the mountain to the cabin with steep inclines. The view was great!
