Enjoy this spacious, timeless and cozy home with a fully fenced front yard 15 mins from the University of Washington. Shared gym in the backyard for your workout routine! This home is conveniently located off I-5, within walking distance to shops and famous restaurants including Ezell's Famous Chicken and 45th Stop N Shop & Poke Bar. The home features a nice mix of timeless wood features in the living and dining room, and a modern atmosphere in the kitchen and bedrooms.

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single family home approximately 1880 sqft with a flat entrance. The basement is a separate rental with a completely different entrance, and the two rentals share the laundry room & detached gym in the backyard.

Note that the home is located right by I-5. During the day, there is considerable noise in the home especially in the living room and dining room areas. The noise is also noticeable in the top floor bedroom with the twin beds as that bedroom faces I-5. The two bedrooms on the main floor are quieter. We provide ear plugs for guests who are sensitive to noise.

**About the Reservation**
• In booking our home, you consent to completing a third-party identity verification. The screening will have to be completed within 3 days from booking or at least 24 hours before check-in, whichever is earlier, to fully confirm your reservation. You are welcome to reach out to us for complete terms regarding guest screening.
• We uphold our cancellation policy as we only have each night available to one group of guests. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking. One date change if your check-in date is more than 2 weeks away. No date changes otherwise.
• For stays longer than 29 days, we require a double cleaning fee, additional tenant screening, lease signing, and a security deposit to fully confirm your reservation.

**Additional Info About the Home**
• There is no dedicated parking for this home. We provide a city-issued guest parking permit for free street parking and the space is usually quite available.
• Please be aware that the basement is a separate rental and might be occupied by other guests. The shared facilities include the laundry room & detached gym in the backyard.
• This home is right by I5 as mentioned above, and you will hear highway noise. We provide earpug for use if you are sensitive to noise.

**About Fees & Pricing**
• We utilize dynamic pricing. This means that booking rates may increase or decrease every day. We do not honor yesterday’s pricing.
• Pet fee: Well-trained pets are welcome at $50 per pet. Please let us know if you’ll be bringing your pet and how many. Pet fee is not included in the VRBO total and is processed after reservation is confirmed.

**House Rules**
• This is a pet friendly home but kindly refrain from allowing pets on furniture/linens including couches, throws, beds, pillows, and towels. Please do not leave pets unattended; please bring poop bags and pick up after your pets.
• Strictly NO parties and events, quiet hours between 10pm-8am, no smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property including outdoor areas, no digital piracy, no shoes in the home. $500 fine per violation.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of University of Washington. Features include a gym. The vacation home includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.

Thanksgiving family dinner
In spite of alongside I-5, the noise inside the house wasn't bad and we walked in the beautiful neighborhood surrounding the house. One block away from the freeway you no longer hear it. the house easily accommodated two couples staying overnight and family of 8 for Thanksgiving dinner.

Clean but not functional
The only nice thing about this place was that it is clean. Beds, very uncomfortable. The yard has lots of holes in the fences and shares a yard with other properties so smaller dogs can escape. Hope you don't have reactive dogs either. WiFi didn't work the entire time we were there. The property took hours to fix, blamed ok Xfinity, but really they never even sent some to troubleshoot. It's a known issue bc they have apologies buried in the house instructions only accessible in your email that is through a random link. You have to set up a other account to access it as well. The location is facing the highway and it's a busy street. Just around the corner is a nice neighborhood but you don't really relax here because the fence isn't full closed for privacy and there's lots of road noise all day and night . You will get caught in traffic coming in and leaving. I stayed for a work trip and needed wifi. I brought my dogs thinking it was dog friendly and it wasn't. Terrible sleep and the added difficulty of the WiFi issues along with a not so safe space for my dogs is why I'm not into this property.

Convenient
Property was clean, great location if you are needing to stay close to UW campus. Loved the food options in area, Trader Joe’s was so close made shopping easy. Traffic noise was not as noticeable as thought it would be. Over all I’d definitely come back. Beds were a bit uncomfortable, and the home was on the chilly side. Parking worked out great, but is definitely tight.

Good property and centrally located. The traffic from 5 was not a problem for us. You can’t even really hear it from the bedrooms. We wished the kitchen was better equipped. There were not enough pots and pans. The owner/manager could not have been more communicative. She was great. We had a few problems with the TV and she sorted us out right away.

My friends and I stayed at this property for the weekend and it was awesome. Everything from the booking the property, to the check out process was quick and easy which really allowed us to enjoy our vacation. Plus it is walking distance from Dick’s Burgers and a bunch of other fun bars and shops. This home is an amazing option if you are staying in the Seattle area!

A very nice stay
Cozy house that was very clean with lots of kitchen and bathroom amenities. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The beds are listed as "high quality" and they really aren't. The mattresses are not comfortable but the bedding is very nice. The stairs going up are very steep and wouldn't work for my 80 year old mother. The neighborhood is sketchy at best. They were smoking crack in front of the house two doors down. However, just around the corner is very nice with lots of cute houses. The fwy noise did not bother any of us, even the light sleepers so that too was a plus. All in all we did have a nice stay, so I would indeed recommend this place to others.

True city life
you better like city living cause you are in the heart of it here, right off the major highway lots of noise, vacant houses one house over, we had homeless people out on the front side walk no parking so we had to walk around them w our suit cases that was nice! However the inside of the house was very clean and comfortable I feel bad for the homeowners who take care of their properties and have to deal w this on a daily basis very sad

Beautiful Home
We needed a location close to the starting line for the STP bike race and chose this house for its size and proximity to the University of Washington. The owners were very clear that this home is right on the freeway and has noise pollution, so we were prepared for that and didn’t feel it was an issue. We happened to be there on a particularly hot weekend, so having air conditioning units on the upper floor was very nice. We were able to get some cross-ventilation downstairs by opening windows during the cooler house and utilizing the fans provided. We loved having the gym out back! I don’t know if anyone was staying in the basement unit while we were there, so I can’t speak to what it was like to share the laundry room or gym with other guests, but just be aware this is a possibility. Overall this was a fun property with a couple iconic places to eat within walking distance, and super easy freeway access!

The property was just as expected- a lovely Craftsman home with nice details. It is right next to the highway which made it very convenient for our sightseeing excursions. The highway noise was not too bad and the view of the mountains was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. We enjoyed our stay here.
