The building is amazing, the bed so comfy. However, the staff for breakfast were the rudest we've encountered in the whole of Texas and at checkout the receptionist took a call when serving me and someone in the back was moaning about a customer who had complained about their room being 'stuffy'. So unprofessional.

Staff is great! Hotel location is awesome for Alamo and Riverwalk. Gave area 2 stars because of construction in area, was aggravating, not the Hotel's fault. Old pipes or boiler caused shower water temperature to vary from too hot to no warm water which was frustrating.

There was construction going on right in front of the hotel and many homeless people in the area. The front lobby carpet smelled of urine. Wasn’t very impressed. The whole hotel is in need of an upgrade as well. Many cracks in the shower tub from old age. Rooms are small but there is a bed and a bathroom and that’s all you really need.
