This is a pretty hotel in a good location even with all the surrounding construction currently happening. We could not figure out how to park for valet service the afternoon we arrived but finally figured it out and the attendant was nice and very helpful. The front desk staff were also very nice on the first night. The breakfast was really nice each morning also. However, the staff and parking attendants on our only full day weren’t friendly and, at one point, we waited 20 minutes to hand our car keys to an attendant with no acknowledgment whatsoever from the two standing within five feet of us. There was a pretty lady insisting on getting something from her car and she took both of their attention for the entire 20 minutes. It was humiliating. The help at the front desk on that day and the day we checked out made us feel less than important. As far as the room, it was really cleverly decorated and spacious but we could hear everything from all surrounding rooms and especially the hall. We probably won’t choose to stay here again unfortunately.

This is not your cookie cutter hotel. I have stayed several times, and the room has been different everytime. It is a converted office building from 1909. I think it would be perfect for anyonenwho wants a unique place to stay. It is literally next to the Alamo. Breakfast is also good! You can get a drink in the evening also.

I would give this hotel 4.5 stars. It could have been a little cleaner, nothing gross or major, just dusty and a little worn. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, and most of the staff was friendly.

It was really nice in terms of service and style. However, the toilet was really loud, as well as the AC, and our blankets had a stain on them. We did receive extra blankets when requested so we just used those instead.

Renovated old building, but well done. Nice, well-appointed room, across the Alamo, and a short walk from the Riverwalk. Check in guy was a bit rude, but a good stay otherwise.

The bed in our room was too big for the size of the room. Too much furniture! Tripping hazards everywhere. Mattress was too soft and the shower leaked water all over the floor. Location was great but wouldn’t recommend or stay again. Breakfast was awesome.

The hotel was a good stay and comfortable. The breakfast was okay but they had only one employee working the area and couldn't keep with the demand for the amount of people that were there at the time. The hotel is close to everything and the Alamo was only a few steps away. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to everything wanting to downtown
