Ideal Brighton Powder Chasing Stay
Property is at a perfect location for anyone planning to snowboard at Brighton or Solitude. Everything you need is about a 30 minute drive from this residence. Ideal location to get to places when being exhausted after being on the mountain to starting your day off right without having to rush to the mountain. Neighborhood and community is great and provided zero concerns. If planning a stay during winter season when it is snowing, having an AWD/4WD vehicle helps. However you can easily contact the host and see what is recommended dependent on the weather. The unit is connected to the owners residence which by no means an inconvenience at all. Gerry was a great host and appreciated his hospitality. Coming from a place that rarely gets snow to having to drive with a traction law in effect to get to the mountain, Gerry provided great tips on how to get to where we needed. What begin as an anxious concern was reassured by him being happy to share his experiences as a resident in the area. Beyond that he was open to responding to any questions we had and left us alone. Great location and host. Would recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and cozy space!

WE STAYED AT THIS PROPERTY IN DEC-JAN; FAMILY OF 4 AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PROPERTIES WE EVER STAYED! VERY MODERN, CLEAN, GREAT INTERNET, STOCKED REALLY WELL WITH ALL YOU MIGHT NEED! EXCELLENT LOCATION: CLOSE TO SLOPES AND TO TOWN! OWNER GREETED US UPON OUR ARRIVAL, GAVE VERY HELPFUL INFO, DISCOUNTS FOR THE RENTALS AND LIFTS AND SUGGESTED GREAT RESTAURANTS!!! WE LOVED IT! Great ski trip home base
Well appointed - had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Gerry is a great host. Location is conveninent to LCC, BCC ski areas and close to the restaurants and stores in Cottonwood Heights area.

An Oasis of Comfort and Calm
We loved our stay in Cottonwood Heights. Gerry & Jeanette were wonderful hosts. Present at all the right times (like clearing the walk, the driveway and our car in the mornings) but otherwise invisible. They were very helpful with suggestions and guidance on accessing the hills. They have put a lot of thought into our needs as a guest - especially skiers/boarders. There are hooks aplenty for clothes, boots and gear. There were biscotti for the morning coffee, universal chargers for electronics, plenty of plugs and USB slots in the bedrooms, heated floor in the bathroom, great showers and a very high end finish to everything. Nothing that we needed or wanted was missing. We stayed with myself and my two young adult children. The two king beds were firmer than we were used to, but we had no problem sleeping. The location is stunning and perfectly situated at the bottom of Big Cottonwood Canyon access. It was convenient from the airport, to visit the city, and to go to Park City Resort, Brighton and Solitude and Alta and Snowbird. We easily could have accessed Snowbasin as well. If you are considering this vacation rental, don't hesitate - you will not be disappointed. Thanks again to Jeanette and Gerry.

Great place and location
We have a great time staying here and skiing at Brighton and Solitude. Gerry was an awesome host. He was available to answer any questions. He even cleared the snow every day during the snow storm.

Outstanding Big Canyon stay
Location to Big Canyon was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Furniture comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. I would not do a thing different if this was my own rental. It was a treat to stay here.

Great stay and great location for skiing
My family of 5 stayed for 3 nights while skiing Solitude, Brighton and Snowbird. The location is great for a short drive to the resorts. Gerry and Jeanette were wonderful hosts. Communication was excellent before and during the trip. Gerry cleared and salted the snow to keep us safe. The property is in great shape and I would happily stay here again!

Second Stay As Good as the First
We returned because our first stay in May 2022 was fantastic. See "Better than Stein Erickson" review . Our second stay was also amazing. This is a large, cozy unit with luxury finishes and touches. Newly constructed. Great beds. Well-equipped kitchen. Wifi, entertainment systems first rate. Owners are friendly and helpful. Perfect location -- close to resorts, dining, markets, shopping. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back in May 2023.

Excellent location and lovely unit
This unit was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Our host Gerry was very nice and thoughtful leaving information in the unit to explore the area. We stayed over Thanksgiving to visit family and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. Located just down the hill from Alta and Brighton plus a short drive to Park City to do some exploring. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next trip.

Great Location!
The property owner allowed us to arrive 2 hours earlier than the posted check-in time which was very helpful. He also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was good with the house and to see if we had any question. Very clean, two large bedrooms with King beds and in an excellent location!

Seriously. Luxe unit with high end finishes, thoughtful details down to heated bathroom floors, and well located power outlets for phones, Ipads, etc. Perfect condition. like brand new condition. Private entrance. Heavenly beds. High end neighborhood, quiet, peaceful. Super helpful hosts. Perfect location central to ski resorts and SLC. Can't wait to return.

Property was exactly as advertised. Very spacious and well equipped. We were easily able to access Brighton/Solitude and Alta/Snowbird for skiing. Property Manager was very friendly and helped make the stay more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay and Very Well Located !!
We stayed here along with our 3 children, great place: clean, warm & cozy, well appointed, close to ski resorts as well as shops/restaurants, fabulous connectivity/wifi, great hosts. We stayed during peak snow season, the driveway (and our car!!) was cleaned every AM before we left for amazing powder days ... we didn't even have to ask or arrange in advance. The hosts were very respectful of our privacy yet available if we needed anything. Would absolutely stay again.

Ski Vacation
The basement apartment is very well appointed and it was a comfortable place to hangout in after skiing each day. The location provides easy access to a number of different ski resorts. We felt like we really had space to spread out, which is something you won't find at any of the ski properties for the same price. The property owner is amazing and checked in on us every day. It really felt like we were staying at a friend's house. 5 stars all the way!!!

Nice basement
The good. The house is in a nice location, the basement was super clean, everything seemed new and nice, the beds are super comfy. heated bathroom floor. The not so good. It was hot in the basement and we couldn’t control the temperature so it made it hard to sleep. They had nest. We turned it down when going to bed and when we would wake up it would be at a much higher temp than we set it to. We woke up sweating most nights and the one night it was cool enough to open the windows a guy with a weedeater shows up and intentionally stands directly outside the window at 7/8 am waking everyone up. Other mornings their dogs woke up us barking and one morning we could hear the homeowners fighting with each other. We didn’t sleep much at all while there. Also there were spiders, i killed 3 in my room alone, one in the bathroom and 2 in the living room. There is no outside place to sit. Its nice but not worth it for 3k.

December Ski Trip
Loved the space, owners were great and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect if you're going skiing. We skied both Brighton and Solitude, visited park city for a day, and downtown Salt Lake for a day, all within 20 to 30 minutes of our vrbo. Would definitely recommend!

Great property, fantastic location!
This apartment property is a terrific find whenever visiting the Salt Lake City area. Regardless of your itinerary - skiing, hiking, site seeing, or general visits - the location is perfect. The drive is less than 30 minutes to at least 6 ski resorts, and closer to town and the airport. Every convenience was considered, and the space is nicely decorated and spacious. Internet was fast and stable. The owner was very courteous and has taken care of all the amenities you would expect. I will keep this on my list of favorites for future trips to the area.
