- Nearest airport: Rennes airport, approx. 1h05 by car (76.3 km)
- From Place St-Vincent, you'll find bus departures to all parts of Saint-Malo, as well as to Dinard, Cancale, Dinan and Mont Saint-Michel.
- Ferries to Portsmouth, Jersey and Guernsey, at the ferry terminal just a 5-minute walk away.

In the heart of the Intra-Muros :
Visits: museums, the Cathedral, tour of the ramparts, guided tours available from the tourist office at Porte St Vincent, at the foot of the ramparts outside.
From Place St Vincent, you'll find bus and coach departures to all parts of Saint-Malo, as well as the little train for a commented historical tour of the town.
Food: Rue de l'Orme, also known as Rue Gourmande, is a great place to discover local produce:
butters and cheeses from chez Bordier, Babas de Saint-Malo, seasonal fruit and vegetables from Les 4 saisons, fresh fish from the Guinemer fishmonger, as well as numerous restaurants, such as Breizh café, Cambusier, or down the street l'Absinthe.
Restaurants and cafés :
On Place Chateaubriand, you'll find great seafood at Café de l'Ouest, the best burgers at Lion d'or, a Sunday lunchtime brunch at Maison Générale for the pleasure of your taste buds and eyes (reservations recommended), and the friendly Cargo Culte restaurant, with its home-cooked menu of tarts, salads, tartines and soups, in a brocante decor. La Duchesse Anne crêperie, a historic establishment not to be missed.
In the evening, you can choose between a Celtic atmosphere at St Patrick's, or the festive atmosphere of the belle époque. If you're a cocktail lover, check out La Fabrique, a multitude of original cocktails. And if you prefer a nautical and sailing atmosphere, you can enjoy a concert or contemplate the sea at the Cunningham or on the terrace at the Cancalais on the Bas Sablons harbor towards the St Servan district!
