Great hotel in the heart of Rostock
This hotel was an easy 10 or so minute walk from the train station. The reception was efficient and lifts to rooms very close. The hotel us very interesting with games rooms , bar etc but it is connected directly to a small shopping mall thatleads out to the main shopping street which is full of different shops and attractions and is car free. Plenty of places to eat as well. It is a short walk to the river as well. The bed us very comfortable and the bathroom is large and very user friendly. Large windows open if required. Only thing was that there was no bar fridge to chill drinks or a kettle. With no bar fridge or kettle you have to go to reception to get a glass of ice to cool drink or some hot water for a coffee. But all in all good place to stop prior to going to going on to catch a cruise ship in Warnemunde. The trip to Warnemunde is around 30 mins and only $2.50 euro per adult.

This hotel was advertised as having air condition in every room . A/C is one of our priorities we look at when booking a hotel. There was an a/c in the room , but it was not cooling , even after the front desk manager claimed that a technician has checked it ok after complaint. The manager further started a weird discussion about outside temperatures etc. The hotel room was one of the expensive suites , under the roof and baking warm at about 28 Celsius . It was also run down , not at all as advertised in the pictures on Expedia .... even the manager admitted that it needs an overhaul. There was no way , so they claimed , to find another room/rooms for me and my two children. Overall very disappointing !!! We didn‘t stay and checked in at the more comfortable and very friendly RADISSON BLUE.

Great hotel in a perfect location very central. No food however available in the hotel only drinks. Could improve by offering a bar menu maybe? No coffee in rooms either which could be a nice addition

We stayed here as a couple with our 9 month old and when we got there it was quite disappointing. The hotel itself was quite run down and in need of decorating. The room although very big, the same problem, very outdated. The walls were dirty and marked, mould in the bathroom sink and curtain shower. The shower was poor as the water pressure was bad and the bath didn’t hold water. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms and although big, it had the same furniture as the smaller rooms so looked empty. Location is great and the breakfast was good. The beds were big which was a good thing as the baby bed they provided was revolting and there was no way he was sleeping in that.
