The property is very large with three large pools. It is not difficult to get lounge cheers near the pools. There is a very nice walking area along the ocean and a small beach you can climb down cliff to. The dining options on property are limited and pricey. Staff was very kind, especially bartenders and housekeeping, except for the hostess at buffet. It is a nice location with quick uber ride to downtown where there are so many good restaurants. Parts of the hotel could use some updates and look a little rundown for the price. The gym offers nothing. We stayed in an apartment and had lots of space and a kitchen which was very nice to use qith goegeous close grocery store.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at cascade! My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing vacation in a beautiful place and that’s exactly what we got. The resort was spotless. Beautiful views of the ocean from the pool and all the restaurants. The staff was amazing and extremely kind and helpful with all of our requests. The hotel was perfectly located - just a short 7-9 minute drive to old town Lagos which was perfect for shopping and dinner. Breakfast was included every morning and did not disappoint. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better, more relaxing experience

Stayed two nights (Fri-Sun) in August for 1,000 Euro. Breakfast was included, but left so early Sunday we only had one morning of breakfast. Breakfast options were amazing. There was abundance of everything. Evrerything else on property was super pricey $$$$. Mundi restaurant buffet was 42 Euro per person. Fri meals was a tex-mex type display. A lot of items overcooked, dry, and bland. You are better off eating upstairs at the Gastropub for much better quality and maybe at a lower cost depending how much you order, though but still pricey. All the pool areas were awesome. My toddler loved it. Need more umbrellas. Sweep up all the little pebbles around pools and reseal the pavement. The lawns and grounds need some fertilizer and water. Hotel needs to bring that green back as shown in all online pictures/photos. Waters, chocolates, robes, slippers, etc are always a nice touch. My family had a great time.

Cascade is a beautiful property with large grounds. There is next to no staff during the day and the grounds are a little tired. Large apartments are great for families. Many professional football teams play there, both Sporting and Fulham were there during our stay!

Great resort. The 2 bedroom apartment was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the mornings was definitely a plus. The staff was great and the pool was very relaxing. Great walks near by- especially to Pointe de Puedade

Beautiful property. Well maintained. Wasn’t happy with the room. Our friends who paid for the same category room had a room that was double the size of mine. Also, we had a room that had a connecting door. While the door was locked, we were able to hear everything that was being said in the next room. There was no privacy. The walls were paper thin.

3-3.5 star property. Missing on staff training

We just completed our four night stay split between the 2 bedroom apt and a nice one bedroom in the main hotel. Everything about the place was fine but it was just missing something on the service side. I can’t put my finger on it as everyone was nice and we had no negative interactions. It just seemed the level of staff training was not up to snuff. The apartments were the way to go as they have the sand beach pool and a large fridge which is great for a family. I found the food to be on the just okay side ordered at the main pool. It also took over an hour for a hamburger and pepperoni pizza. Not good with small kids. We ate at the dinner buffet twice due to reasons of one of our party getting sick. It was okay. Hard to judge for me as I feel a buffet is a master of none situation where everything is okay but nothing is great. The property could use some fleshing up with things like signs. When you leave the main hotel the markings to go elsewhere are lacking. Childcare activity center was excellent and my kids loved it so they get high praise. Nice to be able to hide from your kids on vacation every now and the. To sum it up, I enjoyed my stay but I would probably not stay there again. I would try to find better value for the money.

Nice Resort in Beautiful Location

This was a nice resort in a beautiful location. The resort had direct access to a walking/hiking trail overlooking the cliffs and water, and was walking distance to several beaches. The resort offered three pools (which we found to be on the chilly side) and several restaurants (which were expensive compared to town but the food was a good quality.) We had maintenance issues with our first apartment and were moved to a second apartment. The first apartment was updated, the second wasn't (but everything was working.) We did notice water on the bathroom floor in both rooms (after showering) due to the shower door design. Nonetheless, the apartment was quite spacious and comfortable. We took Ubers into the Old Town several times, the Ubers were cheap and about a 10 minute ride.

The rooms are large by American Standards. The buffet was excellent and high quality. Everyone went out of their way to be super helpful. The AC worked super well & the room. We had had a huge patio by the pool. Excellent for families and couples.

Beautiful property with an amazing pool. Everything was well maintained. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Parking is free and right at the front entrance. Included breakfast buffet was perfect with an omelet station and all other breakfast you could wish for. Sessions meal was exceptional and chef curated.

We loved that the boardwalk was right there to walk around the cliffs! We also loved all the pools available to swim in. The restaurant was fantastic and so were the servers! Overall it is good value for money I think.

Really Excellent - very comfortable, very relaxed

Great overall, even better than I had expected. Room much better than the photos suggested (quality of linen amongst best ever, in any five-star I've stayed in, and bathroom spotless with constant piping hot water for bath). Pool-side room with direct access from room patio door to pool area was great. No need to worry about noise around pool as not so busy and everyone well behaved! Could go in and out of room to pool and other facilities very easily. Hardly used corridor entrance to room during entire stay. Breakfast buffet excellent, best choice of fruit and pastries, even though cooking station very, very slow, for hot egg dishes. Better to use frying pans rather than hot plate? Bar area outdoor terrace was also very nice in evening sun, but quieter rather than lively. Hotel a bit shabby in places, as over comments have said. They could really enhance pool-side area by putting cushions on recliner (but plenty of recliners and no rush every morning, as not that many rooms) and putting in some new parasols, as look very shabby. Stunning location righty by boardwalk that takes you to all interesting viewing and swimming spots. About a 20 min walk to town centre and restaurants. Quick taxi journey. Spa also great with own outdoor pool. All staff super helpful and friendly. Final tip: this is a super relaxed experience, calm and quiet, with amazing views and walks nearby, but if you're looking for somewhere with more of a buzz / atmosphere, it might not be for you!

The staff were kind and gracious. The property is exceptional and the food offerings were a pleasant surprise. We used a car service during our stay, but i did walk to a grocery store, so that was within range on foot.
