Nice room in an old building, conveniently located close to the Termini train station in Rome. The breakfast buffet was great. Polite and attentive personnel. Main issue was the odor in the bathroom.

Impero Hotel was within walking distance of all public transport for everything. The hotel staff was very helpful at all times. Breakfast buffet was the best with a very wide selection of foods. The only downer was the noise, the place was alive at night since it was close to the night life, bus, tram & train station.

The area is very centrally located. A lot of restaurants within walking distance. Supermarkets are also available close by. The breakfast was very good. If I come back I would stay in this hotel again.

Given a room that required waking outside on the roof to get to. Appeared to be a converted utility shed. The hot water in the shower didn’t work.

I would have loved to stay at this property, but on arrival after a long flight and train ride into Termini at 11 at night, they told us they didn't have a room. They said there was a problem with the bathroom and sent us down the road to stay in another hotel. The Hotel Genova. This hotel said the Impero was probably overbooking their rooms. The Genova didn't have the same old world vibe, but it was functional in a sense that if you just want to sleep and eat breakfast somewhere it was perfectly fine. Not much ambience but did the job for one night. People at the desk were accomodating. when I looked the Genova up one line it said 350 Euros. Rome hotels are so ridiculously overpriced, but what can you do

The staff was always responsive and kind, helpful when needing transportation Room was clean and beds were comfortable Breakfast was good The A/C was not fully functioning one day, hot water was lost one day, there was constant maintenance around the building

The property is very conveniently located with the station being just a 5 minute walk away. The rooms were reasonable size,but, we did not have hot water in the morning. Things did not get any better as , by evening, there was no water. Worse still, when we tried to get information at the reception desk, the person there talked as if he was not responsible and that he had informed whoever it was, and someone would look at the matter. No time,no assurance. It was as if he had done his bit and customers should be happy they had a room. The plumbing and fittings in the bathroom were bad. The shower stall was barely enough to stand in. Entry into the shower stall required one to be careful.Breakfast was not good. Would not recommend the hotel for any reason except the convenience of the location. Period.

A great room, great location, very safe, modern and clean. We didn't have to park but it seemed like there were lots of options around here. It's very walkable - easy to Termini and to shopping, sites etc. Easy to get taxis, and staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Our room smelled a little of cigarette smoke, but it may have drifted up from the street out front. Didn't get a chance to go to the rooftop bar but we'll try next time!
