I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be an excellent choice, especially if you're traveling by train. The location is incredibly convenient, with the train station right across the street, making it easy to get around Italy. There are also plenty of great restaurants just a 5-minute walk away, offering a variety of dining options. The hotel has a bar next door, which is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. They also offer a convenient luggage storage service for a small fee, which is ideal if you want to travel light while exploring Italy. This was a big plus for us, as it allowed us to store the bulk of our luggage and only take what we needed for shorter trips. While the hotel is undergoing some upgrades, it didn’t impact our stay. The breakfast, priced at €10, was decent and provided a nice start to the day. Overall, it's a solid option for travelers, with its fantastic location and practical amenities.

The only good thing about this room was that it was clean. Cleaning staff is top notch! Breakfast was ok, but not worth $25 pricetag. The pictures of the rooms on website are not what you get. There was no a/c even though it is advertise as having a/c. If you have an inside room, there is no air circulating even if the windows are open. They are remodeling and that should be disclosed in the booking process. Hotel Maddison Roma was notnworth the $500 pricetag for 2 nights!

I stayed at this hotel in October and had a disappointing experience. To start, the room was advertised as having a double bed, but it was simply two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable. The room also lacked air conditioning despite the remote being available to control both heat and cool settings. The hotel staff never mentioned this until I complained, and I was told the heater was on because of the season. The phone in the room didn’t work, meaning every time I had a question, I had to go down to reception. When I asked about it, one receptionist claimed it was due to "weather conditions" (wind), which seemed odd. Later, when I complained again, another receptionist admitted it was actually because of renovations, suggesting they lied initially to avoid the issue. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was essentially useless. The signal didn’t reach my room, and when I tried to log in, it wouldn’t work. The receptionist blamed it on all the rooms being booked, as if they hadn’t considered capacity when setting up the Wi-Fi. When I pointed out that the signal didn’t even reach my room, there was no response. There was no manager on site to escalate my complaints, and the staff made it clear they couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything to fix these problems. Overall, my stay was frustrating, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless these issues are resolved.

Best place to stay across train station
Check in time was 3p but have luggage storage room. Breakfast small spread but ok. Receptionist very friendly. Booked car service to airport via hotel service. No coffe pot in the room . Location outstanding, just across the train station and food and markets at the train station.

Great place to stay right next to Termini Station all the staff were very friendly and bi- lingual, they have a large choice for breakfast, very quiet in the motel. There are several good places to eat on the sidewalk near the motel.

Prime location if you want to be near the train station. Many many restaurants to choose from within a few blocks. Staff were great with recommendations and tips. After dark it does get a little ‘rougher’ in the neighbourhood but that is mostly due to its prime location. Even though it was an extremely busy area, we slept with our windows open on the 6th floor and did not hear any traffic. Colosseum was a 30min walk and Trevi fountain was only 20 away.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful Dont let the old style of the rooms disappoint you, the hotel kept the traditional look i did at first struggle to find my room ( feels like a maze) but after a few days it was fine Big station right opposite, 2 stops gets you to the Colosseum, pay €7 for a 24 travel card and you can visit all the attractions for selfies in one day Plenty of food right outside the hotel, plenty of shops if your looking for a hotel which is convenient, this is the one
