Recently, had a very wonderful 5-night stay at Hotel Duca d'Alba which is classy and lovely. It is extremely neat with a very comfortable mattress and bed sheets. Its breakfast buffet was full of varieties. Most importantly, its front-desk staff was amazingly helpful, especially Angelo and Christ who were joyful with smiles, engaging, caring and resourceful all the time. Also, the hotel has an excellent location with many nice restaurants around it and a very nearby metro station (less than 2-minute walk). All in all, I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I go back to Rome next time. (My stay was at the end of September.)

Hotel is in perfect location, but be aware that basic room will have a shower next to your bed. That is not what you see on the picture! Pictures are very deceiving. We had to pay to upgrade to have a normal bedroom and shower. Also don’t expect usb charger.

The staff was so kind & helpful. Amazing location right by the Colosseum. A/C worked well. Nice patio, amazing shower head & water pressure. Very very quiet. I highly recommend this boutique hotel. They were very attentive and went out of the way to make our stay carefree and relaxing!

This is our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is always so friendly (shoutout to kuya George). There are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around the area. It's also within walking distance from the Colosseum! I definitely prefer the rooms at the Annex (as they are bigger - just no elevator).

I have stayed here 5x Monti is now a "hot" area, and a well located place to be. Duca D'Alba is a pleasant, well priced hotel in the middle of the "action"... nice staff, clean rooms... not high end accommodation but perfectly nice, but particularly for solo travelers.... and, sneaky secret, some rooms have private terraces .. ; -)
