Location was excellent and the room was good for its price. Only small issue was the toilet was too close to the corner of the washroom and the shower area just in front with very little space. Feels very squished in when using the toilet. Everything else was great!

We reserved a basic room at the Colonna Suite del Corso. We did not realize that there were 2 different basic rooms. The first one displayed in the photos on the booking site appears to be superior to the two rooms. Size: The room we were given, the purple one in the photos, was extremely small. We estimate that it measures 8.5x10 feet not counting the bathroom. Amenities: The mini fridge was broken and we had to throw out the cheese and meat we had bought for a picnic because we didn't realize in time. There was no chair or mirror in the bedroom area for doing ones make-up. The shower cap, fresh towels each day and soap were nice touches as was having access to a snack bar (we did not buy anything). Bathroom: the shower was large with great water pressure. The best feature of the hotel, but very dark. Unfortunately the fan didn't work well so the bathroom became very steamy. Staff: the woman we met on arrival was very kind and sweet, as was the gentleman who called us as courtesy to inform us of an upcoming city wide public transportation shortage due to a Marathon. There was another woman who was a little less accommodating - when my partner requested to borrow a knife (for our picnic), she roughly informed him that eating in the room was against the rules. I have since reviewed the rules again and still find no such mention. Location: absolutely amazing, close to all major sights, public transportation and restaurants. Would not stay again.

Shower had no hot water and staff said they would look at it but never did! Shuttle from the hotel is more expensive than the flat rate for a taxi as well!

The staff were exceptional; very helpful and accommodating! The location and price are great. There are restaurants and small shops within a few minutes walk. Walking to the Vatican is possible but takes about 45 minutes. The Colosseum is closer, about a 25 minute walk. Due to timing and the temperature, we preferred to get taxis which are clean, well maintained and can be scheduled by the hotel staff.

Truly enjoyed our stay here as it was close to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain as well as many shops and restaurants. We had a very big room for European standards. Had a bit of an issue with the toilet flusher as it would always cave into the wall. After seeing the staff member repair it, I knew how to fix it when it happened again. The shower head was strangely situated in the bath where there was a small partition that only covered the part of the bath. So, water did tend to splash out of the tub. It was easy to clean with the towels. The breakfast was incredible. There was plenty of choices. Loved it!

This hotel is an old building but well maintained and in the heart of the walking/sightseeing section of Rome with excellent restaurants and shopping minutes away. I would recommend this property

The Colonna Suite was an amazing, but affordable place to stay. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful walk-in shower with ceiling heaters and a rain forest shower head. The breakfast buffet was huge with everything from meats, cheeses, eggs, cakes/sweets,etc. The Colonnal Suite is located in the historical center of Rome and is a 3 minute walk from the Pantheon. The staff was outstanding! They gave us maps to the city, ordered taxis, made fresh cappuccinos for us, and were very accommodating. This was a great stay and wonderful value. I highly recommend staying here!

Great central Location
After a first night in a “basic small room dungeon” that I booked by mistake, the staff was very helpful and we upgraded to a Junior suite which was excellent in every aspect. Great bed, modern room design, big bathroom with tub and walk-in shower, great amenities. The hotel is in walking distance to many famous places of Rome and lots of nice restaurants around.

We had two adjoining rooms which was convenient for friends traveling together. The breakfast option was good and the cappuccino was great. Beds were comfortable and showers had plenty of hot water.

Colonna Suites del Corso was in a great location the staff were very helpful and made everything very easy for us. Thank you to the staff. The rooms were clean and quiet and quite big for Rome. Some rooms have interesting features.
