Stay ruined by snowstorm
Our family in LK weekend was ruined by the snowstorm on January 13. There was a downed powerline over the road to this cabin and Rhododendron. And all the power was out from Mount Hood down to Sandy Oregon. I have posted pictures, and reached out several times to Vacasa management. And have yet to hear about anything that they will do to help with this failed weekend. I am asking for a refund or at least a full credit for another stay. And I have yet to hear anything.

Great spot to enjoy the Mt Hood area
We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood setting of this home. The kids loved the access to the community pool, and we appreciated the fenced in yard for our furry family members. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The location is perfect for exploring the area with plenty of restaurants in hiking trails nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin
The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The backyard was great but for the road noise. Both humans and dogs enjoyed our stay, and Vacasa made everything easy and uncomplicated.

Mountain cabin
Great little cabin. About 30 mins from timberline lodge. Feels like you’re super far out of town which was nice. Comfy beds, nice hot tub. Had endless hours of fun playing ping pong. Loved having a fire all day long to keep things toasty and relaxing. Only downfall was the couch sagged so so much in the middle that we could not all sit on it; definitely need to upgrade that. Could only have a person on each end. Otherwise was perfect.

It's a well used house that is very comfortable, it's in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hot tub has a cover that's easy for one person to operate, nice little firewood supply with hatchet for making kindling.

Mostly good
The house is comfortable. It could use some updating. Some of the kitchen items are pretty old - toaster/toaster oven, non-stick pans have seen better days. There was no laundry detergent. There was no dvd play or foosball table as advertised. We called vacasa and they brought a DVD player. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walking. It is easy to get to Timberline from the house. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Perfectly peaceful cabin
What a lovely place to stay! Roomy yet with a cozy feel. Completely fenced yard for our pup Mr Frankie. Kitchen completely stocked with everything we needed for some cozy fall meals. Hot tub was great but only hiccup here was we couldn’t get the temperature to go higher that 96 degrees so that was a disappointment. The location is so peaceful and neighborhood so quiet we didn’t want to leave!!

Lengthy but could save you hours of time
VRBO has contracted with Vacasa and this is our experience: Marshall's cabin was nice, however.... Vacasa was terrible. We arrived after check in time to a dirty cabin in the middle of a pandemic. I had to call Vacasa 5!! times before I got a "resolution." They moved us to a cabin 25 minutes away but not until we had waited around for over 2 hours in the yard of the dirty cabin. The new cabin had a broken stove, toilet and grill. Next day, two Vacasa employees entered the cabin unannounced & maskless saying we weren't supposed to be there (we were). We moved back to Marshall's cabin that night. It was a waste of our vacation time to move back and forth between the two cabins. Back at Marshall's the grill didn't work nor did the internet. 3 more phone calls and no resolution. I spent over 5 hours on the phone with Vacasa before the offered me a $100 credit. Another 1.5 hours of phone time and I finally reached a supervisor and was given a partial refund. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Don't rent from this company. They could care less about your satisfaction and openly went against the health rules set down by Oregon during a pandemic.

Disappointed
We are raising grandkids and all of us needed this time away. The house was ok but really needed a deep cleaning, it smelled bad so we opened windows only to find nasty unclean window seals, some pans we're put away dirty and small appliances were sticky unclean, We spent allot of time cleaning just so we could feel comfortable. I usually bring cleaning supplies with me were ever I go. It lacked dish rags so we had to use the one and only washcloth. The hot tub was great and we loved the walking trails. We liked the fact it was pet friendly but unfortunately people were a little too friendly with there pets since the furniture smells like pee. We left it cleaner than it was when we got there.

Awful property management
The living room and kitchen were dirty. Under the couch was an old meat bone and some other items, along with a lot of dirt. Under the cabinet in the kitchen was old dog food. There was some confusion on my reservation and if I booked a dog or not. I thought I had, but apparently I had not. Instead of just telling me this, the property management company said that I owed money and was very nasty about it. I will never stay in a house that they manage again. I was also given two check-out times of 10am and 11am. The property itself, except for the cleanliness is older. There is no master bathroom. It is definitely the right price for the house. The neighbors are also much closer than what the pictures show.

Great location - few issues
Overall it is a very nice little house to stay at. We are a family of 4 (3yr and 8mo old). Had a pack-n-play and lots of space. Location was great for all of our adventures: Mt. Hood, Cascade Locks, Zigzag trails, even drove out to Eugene to see family. Few issues, we checked in on a Saturday and Tuesday went to Eugene for the day got home late didn't realize the fridge had died. Called the management company early Wednesday to let them know. All of our food went bad, the fridge was warm so we had to toss it all - freezer died with the fridge...lost the ice cream :( . Hard thing to deal with when you're really trying not to eat out on a trip with little kids. They did comp us one nights say, which was very nice. Received a call on Thursday that they found a fridge to bring over, but by that point we had decided to cut our trip short and head to a hotel near Portland for Friday night (left Sat morning). Thursday night we picked up some popcorn to watch a movie with our 3 yr old - the microwave wasn't working. It did earlier in the week so our assumption is that it was on the same circuit as the fridge BUT when looking in the panel nothing was blown - so unsure. I did email the company again on Thursday and on Friday to let them know we were leaving and the reasons why. The house description is spot on - fully stocked kitchen for cooking, big rooms, beds were comfortable. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking in the woods - it rained the entire time we were there, but hey...that's Oregon! EASY check in/out process. I hate spiders and this house has some monsters out in the yard and the outside light by the front door - be warned :) also found some in the house as well, not as big but enough to freak me out - husband had to go on a spider hunt for me the first day and we continued to find them throughout the stay. House is in a wooded area but still freaked me out. Neighborhood is very nice, did lots of walks to help get the 'wiggles' out of the 3 yr old, everyone we ran into was very nice. Did not go to the club house, walked by though, looked nice. Over all we would stay there again due to the location and the size of the house for our family - appliances need to be fixed and spiders need to go :)
