Our plane was delayed and after a long day of traveling we finally get to the hotel to be told that they had given our room away. Said our only options were to accept a downgrade or be transferred to another hotel. They wanted me to sign a document consenting to the downgrade. We ending up transferring hotels against our wishes. When heading home we ran into an issue because our transportation was for the RIU Republica so we pay for a second transportation by taxi. Extremely rude and unprofessional interaction with the manager in charge.

Staff is definitely a plus, willing to help at all times. My room was spotless and carefully “decorated” every day. Calling reception is not easy, I called a few times and the line was busy. The food is good. Steak house is wonderful, Italian restaurant very good, Spanish restaurant ok, Asian not so great. My biggest complaint is there is no life guard anywhere, my husband had an incident and had to rely on another guest to help him, it was scary. I strongly suggest the resort to hire life guards. Overall our experience was good, I will definitely go back. Special thanks to Immaculata ( my room service lady ) she made my stay so special!

Towels were extremely worn and some stained know face cloths are available only large towel and hand towels. Rooms were clean but lacked luster and bedding did not have enough pillows or comforter as the room gets cold with the air conditioning. Staff was friendly but often over engaging crossing boundaries or unable to communicate due to language barriers. Drinks were watered down. All that said I still had an amazing time shows, amenities, and food were worth the money. However, I will not be back.
