We stayed for 5 nights. It was very relaxing for the family. Food was pretty good though it gets repetitive after 3 days. We had Vegetarian food but still had pretty good options. Dining experience at Zen was cool. Coffee, ice cream and drinks were plentiful. All of them were good Pools were clean. Swim up bars served good drinks. Water park is pretty good even for adults and teens. We went to the theater once. Other days timing didn't work out. Beaches were clean, awesome and relaxing. It rains in December. We were flexible and adjusted our plans based on the rain. Use AccuWeather for planning Service was awesome all the way through. People are trained not to expect tips. We tipped them because we thought they deserved it. They try to pressure people into timeshare like properties. Compared to other properties it was ok

A truly disappointing almost comical experience. Upon arrival had to wait about an hour to check in due to the sheer volume of guests and staff disorganization. We were first assigned the wrong room (single king bed instead of two double beds which we had reserved and paid in advance). We found out double bed rooms were overbooked, and hotel was trying to get people to accept single bed rooms instead of the double rooms reserved. We persisted and were assigned a double bed room, which we had to leave shortly after because it had an active water leak from the ceiling and a water poodle on the floor. We got to a third room, which is where we stayed for 4 nights. The AC in this room broke down twice during our stay. The toilet in the bathroom broke down three times during our stay. The electronic safety device on the room door failed, so we were locked out for a while until a locksmith arrived. These were fixed reasonably promptly, however, we wasted so much of our time reporting and dealing with these issues. Not being enough one of the members of our party got food poisoning after eating a creamy sauce in the Italian restaurant Ciao. Fiinally, there was a blackout on the last night, electricity being restored about an hour later. We complained to hotel management about these mishaps, however, other than apologies were not offered any satisfactory perks or compensation for a ruined vacation. A complimentary night or discount on future stay would have been a nice gesture.

Overall excellent with VERY courteous staff. I was able to move my rooms closer to the casino and shopping as I am unable to walk long distances from the more remote buildings (I switched from B-1C to B-8C. Also it would help if the bathrooms had a hand bar in the shower and toilet area for assist with balance (for older people).

Staff is always great pool great but if I didn’t do the breakfast I didn’t get resort credits ya like what was offered to me for getting a room and they have eliminated the moon lounge night life no silent disco just stand around once the pool was done unless you gambled and were there when the club was open you are just at a hotel. Whoever changed things didn’t see the crowds before it was changed can’t wait for the new hotel next door to open

The property and amenities were exceptional, offering an impressive range of food and entertainment options right on-site. Initially, we experienced an issue with our first room (#1148), which was damp and musty due to humidity. However, the staff promptly addressed our concern and moved us to a fantastic room featuring two bathrooms, a sitting area with a pullout couch, and a table perfect for enjoying meals. This was our first visit to the Hard Rock in Punta Cana, and we look forward to returning soon!

No the best experience with hotels.com and hard rock neither one took responsibility of apply the existing policy that I could get a extra due my flight being rerouted and delayed due to weather conditions. I explained to both parties what happened and how this affected me and my family. We missed a night and a half day of our reservation. Hotels.com told the hotel didn’t approved of applying their policy and hard rock told me that since I book through a third party I was covered by their policy and I need to talk with hotels.com representative

This property is not the same it was 2017. Broken shower control, hair on mattress, cover to HVAC is loose, toilet paper holder was loose, electrical cables sitting in water at pool area, and elevator at spa area out of service. Will not return.

Overall the experience was great, however the food was poor. The meat at the steak house was pure fat and barely contain any meat. Some of the food in the buffet was bland and stale. I would suggest adding Dominican food into the menu. In regard to events it was fun, though I wish they played more Latin music, such as salsa, bachata, and merengue. I’ve notice that the crowd responded better with this type of music. Overall the staff was friendly and the property was clean.

It’s a beautiful, large resort with no lack of things to do. Beach and pool areas are lovely with plenty of bars. There’s live music and entertainment at night and a nightclub that was kicking on a Saturday night. My husband and I stayed there and we don’t have kids so I can’t speak to the kid-friendly features. There are trams to take you out around as it’s a very large property but we didn’t mind the 10 to 15-minute walk from our room near the beach to the main building where the restaurants and shops are located. I loved staying near the beach as that’s where we spent most of our time. There was some wear and tear with the facilities and renovations going on but that’s to be expected with regular upkeep. The food was decent but I’ve learned that most DR resorts don’t have outstanding food. We don’t go to DR resorts for the food …it’s all about beaches, pools, great weather and relaxing!
