We had a nice stay however there was a very loud party in the room directly next to us which disrupted our sleep. The staff, while friendly and welcoming on check-in, was not very helpful in rectifiying this situation when we complained at 4am and then again at 4:30, and it would've been nice to get SOME sort of comp, but no, nothing. So, I doubt we'll be back to Aloft next time we stay in Providence.

Based on six nights of stay, I would definitely come back. The room was clean but I noticed a couple of spots on the floor where some dust and a piece of candy were missed, which I consider a minor issue. The two members of housekeeping I encountered were very helpful, attentive and kind. Acoustics, however, is not the best. The door and walls did not block enough sound, so I could hear people's murmurs and doors.

Good hip stay in Downtown Providence!
Hotel is hip and has a cool, modern vibe. Perfect location for access to Brown, RISD, and Downtown Providence along with many good restaurant options and a Trader Joe’s for snacks and quick items nearby. Rooms are decent sized, however, the appliances (air conditioner/heat, fridge) and squealing shower door are a bit disruptive for sleeping and relaxation. There was also construction next door and on the street, which was not the hotel’s fault but again, not the most peaceful atmosphere. Would stay here again if I had business in Providence, 8/10 stars.
