Really lovely historic boutique hotel in downtown Portland located close to many exciting things! Somewhat small rooms and bathrooms but to be expected with an old building. Nice lobby with lots of art, photo opps, etc. Pinnball in the basement. Only downside is paying to park downtown.

My issue here is less with the hotel and more with misleading advertising on Orbitz part. A VIP benefit offering $20 off for food and/or beverage in a hotel that does not have a restaurant or bar is not particularly beneficial. Further it leads to inflated expectations. I had assumed we could eat at the hotel. Not only not possible but the Portland downtown neighborhood was unfortunately close to several homeless areas. Walking around at night was not comfortable. Again, that's the city of Portland's responsibility not the hotel's but I relied on Orbitz implied information to my detriment.
