I was told three different rates for the pet fee. I originally called to ask because I like to shop around for the best rates and the young lady told me $25 for both dogs. I got to the hotel and the older gentleman told me $50 then a different guy name Tristan told me $75. Wow, very dissatisfied

Great Rooms/comfy beds with a good shower /great location - however the Breakfast Service and Bar Service is TERRIBLE - all 3 stays with 6 month intervals show absolutely no improvement and this stay was spectacularly bad - the food is good though - they need to appoint a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and train urgently

Got put into a room on the ground floor, next to the tram-line running through town. I would think this would be the very last room you'd want to let out, and from the lobby it sure didn't seem like you were going to run out of room any time soon. Seemed like a nice hotel, but I just didn't get to see any of that part.

Staff was super accommodating and very nice whenever we interacted with them. Room was massive with a nice view of the park and beds were very comfortable. The parking structure was also very convenient and large so no worries about not being able to find a spot. The only issue was the walking bridge from the parking lot to the hotel was closed so if you parked on the second or third floor, you needed to go down the elevator, across the driveway, inside the hotel, and then back up to your floor. I wasnt given an explanation as to why but if it was as a safety precaution I understand entirely. Just wish there were more luggage carts available as it did require several trips up down and across to bring everything inside.

Favorite place to stay.
This hotel has a special place in my heart as this was the first hotel I had ever booked back in 2017. Still to this day my favorite place to stay in Portland. Very clean, great world class service, and great cookies always say yes to the cookies. If your getting around by light rail access to all lines except yellow.

The hotel was fine for what we needed. The room was ok, clean but old. The area surrounding the hotel felt very unsafe. There are homeless camps everywhere, literally. There is a park across the street that looks nice enough until you look closer and see questionable people hanging out with masks on their faces covering everything but their eyes. The Portland area in general has gone massively downhill over the years, no matter where you turn there are tents set up with people who are struggling. I was traveling with my dog and had to take her for a little walk while staying there and even though it was a fairly nice Saturday afternoon I felt uncomfortable and unsafe for me and my dog. I was worried that she was going to pick up something unsafe off the ground and eat it. I walked her for about 40 minutes and I felt very relieved to get back to the hotel safely.

Dirty and rundown
The people were rude when we called to request early check in and hung up on us. Then they told us we would but on a waitlist for early check in. Then when we called again they said they didn’t do waitlists and it was first come first serve. When we got there they gave us a room that smelled like cigarette smoke. Then they gave us another room which didn’t smell but was still very dirty (i took pictures). It was not a pleasant experience and the waste of our money for a weekend family trip.
