Great location; mediocre stay
Elevator out of order, staircase, dirty, cluttered and dangerous. Bathroom with a shower curtain that did not cover. No one at the front desk on check-in. No breakfast included. Late checkout was difficult to come by. As a Bonvoy member, I was disappointed.

Stayed for a conference. Very convenient, staff helpful. However, you have to ask around to tell who is actually working front desk/concierge etc… also the ports for USB in my room did not work

One elevator was not working but no one was assisting guests as the other elevator would take a long time to return to first floor. Staff in general very friendly.

Nice Hotel
This hotel is walking distance to a lot of tourist destinations. It is a very nice hotel, and rooms are big. Check in and out was easy, and the staff was friendly.

Room looked worn. No drawers for clothes. Tiny closet. No place to put luggage except on the floor unless you only have a backpack or small carryon bag. Not really handicapped accessible in bathroom. Only one hook in bathroom- no place to hang robe/ towels. Great bedding and pillows. Bed very comfortable. Had breakfast one morning in restaurant there. Food was good, waitstaff very friendly. Location good but would stay somewhere else next time.

Room was spacious and staff was phenomenal. The mattresses are very firm. Not a big problem but for the folks out there that want some plush comforts the bed isn’t going to supply that. One issue outside of the control of the hotel is the consistent racing every night from 10-11pm. You’ll hear it two or three times. Just enough to wake you up. My major issue was the major smell of marijuana smell on my floor. I know housekeeping smelled it when they cleaned the room. Felt like they would have informed management. Having that smell hit you when you are “coming home” every evening on vacation is not pleasant. Location of this hotel to old city history is perfect. For sporting events and bigger scale Philly exploration this isn’t the place for you. Please enforce the no smoking policy.

Very comfortable and pleasant business stay
The hotel feels very safe; room was clean, bed was comfy. Nice common areas. Good service, spacious shower. Walkable to tourist attractions and nice restaurants. I would stay again for sure!

Great stay overall! Would stay again.
We had a great stay at the Renaissance. We came for a concert. We felt like the location was great. Easily accessible to restaurants , coffee etc. Our room was clean and had all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful.

Good area. However wlwvator got stuck on us. THEN- we went to our room. Room 503. Smelled awful. 1/4 of the carpet was soaked. They sent someone up. They said air conditioner leaked. Only room with 2 queen beds so we were stuck. Couldn’t walk around soaked carpet. And the smell was awful!!! Felt so dirty. Disappointed

The hotel was very clean. We used the gym and the pool. The interior design was very posh. We even ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant. A great hotel for the price. Plus it was in historic Philadelphia which made tourists trips very easy to plan and access. I would stay there again.
