Called the morning of to confirm stay and was told it’s confirmed and payed for. Arrived around 5pm and was told it’s sold out and had to transfer us to sister property next door to the homewood suites.

We first got a room that wasn’t ready and was missing items, even having it booked weeks ahead and arriving after 8pm. I called down and we were then sent to another room, that had great beds, but the wallpaper hung loose in the bathroom and the light in the shower flickered constantly. Not at all what I expect from Hilton.

The Hilton on City Avenue in Philadelphia is a very nice clean hotel and is very convenient if you are planning to visit St Joseph's University. The staff are friendly and helpful; the room was clean and comfortable. There's a very nice pool. We had a great stay!
