We reserve a suite a few days before our check in yesterday, After the reservation was confirm we realized that we needed a slight change in the suite and the required change did not alter the price of the suite. So we call the reception at the hotel just to be told that they are not able to do such a change and we need to contact expedia. We did and our requested change was accepted at no extra cost and this was confirm to us in a e-mail from expedia. When we check in yesterday the reception desk did not accept the requested change and further argued that the request was not accepted even with a confirming e-mail in hand. Needless to say we were most disappointed.We were planning a ladies shopping W/E, However we ended up with this blunde refusal. dominating the W/E, I for one will not be standing there again and we do not recommend this establishment for other potential quess.

The space for the family room was great. However the kitchen wasn’t equipped as well as it could be. The beds are very hard and the couch uncomfortable. The bathrooms and showers were great. The cleaning staff attentive and friendly. Parking very expensive and should be reduced based on room stay.

Great hotel
Amazing spot to have a great stay in Ottawa. It is centrally located and close to everything. Very spacious suite and having the kitchen allows you to make your own meals. Staff was very friendly and accomdating. Highly recommend it.

Suite but not sweet!
Annoying use of cards - to get in the property, select floor on the elevator, room, gym, pool and parking garage. There was a full kitchen but no oven mitts or baking sheet for oven use. The bathroom is too small and laundry room too big. Beds are super hard. Elevators are so slow that wait times can be up to 15 minutes or more.

They have issues with the elevators. Every morning you can wait like 20-30 minutes before you manage to get out. The rooms are ok and the location is great, but the garage is pretty bad (also expensive) and the elevators are horrible it really makes you regret booking there

The room itself was pretty good, but the building is dated and staff/systems were clunky and frustrating. The elevators are the worst I’ve seen in a long time - so bad they negatively impacted the whole stay. Gym is decent, pool looked good (tested the temperature, it felt quite comfortable, no chlorine smell). Location is good. Cafe is hopeless, but I suspect that is a separate business.

Hotel itself was nice - rooms are exceptionally clean and well renovated. Beds were nice but a bit on a harder side. Very nice pillows. Great convenient kitchen, appliances, set of dishes, etc. Nice sitting room, dining space and place to do remote work if needed. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Walking distance to restaurants and the shopping centre. Cons: long lineups at the elevators, not very clean outside, many homeless people around. Some People on the street were not friendly, approaching with vulgar advances without any reason whatsoever. Felt not safe and was ready to exercise self defence actions.

We have stayed here several times but fir some reason this time was unpleasant The room was beautiful as it was the newly renovated room but it was fully cleaned Garbage was still left in the kitchen under the sink, fridge had mess inside bitter or something on shelf, mess behind toaster that was not cleaned up and the handle for vanity sink this fell off when I lifted to wash my hands They came the next morning and fixed the sink handle and when we went out for the day the maid came and cleaned the room properly Overhaul this place is nice Just got an unpleasant surprise when we checked in the room
