Clean comfortable and value for money.
The staff on reception were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good. Tram stop just outside hotel. The only downside was one lift was out of order so there was long waits for the Lift, especially on the morning of check out.

It's an ok hotel. Beds are clean and there is a shower but don't expect anything more than that. Hotel is dated, lobby has a booth selling instant noodles and crisps instead of a restaurant. Only two lifts for a very tall building...

A room with a view
This is my second time staying at the Anker and it is now my go to location for a place to stay in Oslo. The beds are supremely comfortable, the coffee is pretty good, and the ambience in the bar at night is rather stylish. The staff are friendly and everything is wonderfuly quiet at night, even when the hotel is quite full.

Looks can be deceiving, the rooms and hotel may not look the best, but the breakfast selection is great and with a tram station just outside the front door it is very easy to explore the rest of Oslo with little hassle.

Esta estancia es recomendable por su buen servicio de desayuno. Esto hace que valga la pena la estancia. La habitación en general bien. La alfombra se ve y se siente sucia. Por lo demás está bastante aceptable. Si estás de vacaciones, el tranvía pasa justo enfrente y te lleva en unos pocos minutos a las zonas turísticas más importantes.

There is not even a kettle in the room not even a glass. No telephone to talk to the reception. They did not have a rug in front of the bathroom door. The shower cubical is to small and wets the why bathroom when taking a shower

Great 24hr check in desk for us as we arrived in the middle of the night! Hotel was clean and exactly like the pictures and we had great views of the city. Had booked a superior double room and this was two single beds together not a double bed like we thought it was going to be but we didn’t mind (clarification on booking about this could be useful). Breakfast was great and links to city centre was amazing being right outside or walking distance. Only complaint is that on the first morning we were woken by drilling and building works at 7am.

It was easy to check in and our room was good. There were many options for breakfast provided by the hotel. There were no facilities in the hotel but plenty of dining options in walking distance. No issues with this hotel but if you are looking for bar and dining options then this is not a good option.
