Elevator broken since I arrived. And I'm on 2nd floor. Saw cockroach in stairwell, but facility is clean with clean rooms and hallway carpet. Pool could use some chlorine and maintenance. Overall, I am satisfied for the price and location to my new job.

The pool was dirty. The hallways were noisy at all hours. The area around the hotel was not really the best either. Overall, an average place to stay on a trip but left much to be desired

Vengeful Manager
1). The photos on Hotels.com app did not match the descriptions. 2). Manager insisted that we booked the wrong room. 3). When we made a negative review of our check in on the app and a verbal complaint to Hotels.com customer service rep., the manager RETALIATED by first threatening us to refund our money (when he knew we had no place to go) & later just told us to leave. 4). The whole place was dirty and should be deemed OUT OF SERVICE. 5). Elevator did not work. 6). Hall way reeked of food smell. 7). The manager’s appearance was unprofessional like he just got out of bed & dirty. 8). The room was dirty: couch was stained & dusty; bed was saggy in the middle; toilet was slow & backing out when flushed; faucet popped off while in use; carpet was heavily stained & dirty. Will never consider staying in any La Quinta again. The manager ruined the whole experience for us & we lost the little trust that we had on the brand. We used to consider it as a reasonable budget friendly hotel. Not anymore. 9). Manager should be trained to listen to the customer’s need & to know that retaliation can get him terminated from his position.

Ok for one nights stay.
Elevator was out. Had to lug my bag upstairs.. broke one of my wheels going back down. Hallways smelled like Chinese food. Bed was super comfy
