It was a good normal hotel but I was quite disappointed the hot tub wasn't working and that this was not communicated upon booking as that was the entire reason I chose this hotel

The hotel is obviously older and could use some touch ups in the room. But service and staff were very friendly and helpful, the area seems very safe, our family walked around the area and did some shopping. Lots of restaurant options in the area. We would stay again.

Pretty mediocre, but could do worse for the price
The good: I arrived a day late due to flight delays, and they refunded me my first night. The ok: room was comfortable enough. The bad: 2 of 3 elevators, including the one closest to entrance were not functioning. Breakfast was pretty weak (just white bread, no real butter, unripe bananas). Overall hotel is not in great condition, lots of cracks in the walls, etc.

The place was not spotless but pretty clean, and a little outdated in some ways but not bad overall. 2 out of the 3 elevators that went to my room on the 6th floor were out of service, and the only working one felt a little sketchy at times. This was extremely inconvenient but we made it work. The staff did come in and change our towels and some bedding while we were out for the day with the "do not disturb" tag on the door, which felt like a bit of a violation, but it's not the end of the world for me. The lady who checked us in was very sociable and pleasant, the lady who checked us out didn't ask about my stay or really say any words to me at all for that matter. Not rude, just not friendly or sociable. Location was convenient to a lot of restaurants and activities. Our stay was pretty affordable in a city where stays can be exorbitant, so I know that I can't set my expectations especially high. Overall I would recommend if you are willing to compromise some quality to save money. If that's not something you can handle, I'd stay elsewhere.

Nastiest room I've ever booked!
The staff was very helpful and respectful. I felt bad for the front desk lady as she was doing her best. But we were not willing to stay the night in such a nasty room.

Love the location, the property itself needed some work, they only had one working elevator which made us take the stairs to the fourth floor because a lot of people were waiting for the elevator. They didn't have many options for breakfast. It was very loud at night.
