Mis-management by Vacasa - AGAIN
We decided to give a VACASA managed property a second chance after a horrendous experience in Hilton Head.(link) The same theme appears to have surfaced again with VACASA- they don't have respect for the vacation time of the renter. This time, a text informing us of a sprinkler inspection at 8am on Monday, our first full day of vacation was sent. Does VACASA think this is appropriate not only to tell the renter that someone has to interrupt their time on vacation for routine checks that could be done at another time but make it at 8am? This is the definition of poor customer service!!!!!!!! Then when we called the office to tell them we never got our response to rescheduling this to some other time, the person responding did not know what we were talking about. Then they came anyway while some of us were in the shower. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We would love to interrupt them on the first day of their vacation at 8am!!
The property itself was nicely decorated, but the infrastructure did show its age and poor pest control was apparent. The air conditioner was a real problem. Although it did keep the condo cool, it made a terrible sound like an airplane engine, drowning out our conversations and the TV. Additionally, the condo did have ants in the laundry room and bedrooms. Nothing like having them crawl on you while you sleep and clean your clothing!!
The location was excellent as it was away from the downtown traffic. If Vacasa did not manage or mis-manage this condo and
