Hardeshøj Færgegård is a magnificent country estate with a panoramic view of the Alssund. The country estate, which used to be a ferry inn, was originally built in 1870, extensively renovated in 2002 and modernised on an ongoing basis, making it an attractive holiday home.
The 800 m² property offers unlimited possibilities. There is a fantastic 170 m² bathing area with a 76 m² swimming pool with swimming trainer and water slide, a 7-person whirlpool and a sauna for 12 people. The bathing area is connected to the rest of the house by a beautiful glass passage along the entire wall. There is a beautiful, completely undisturbed terrace of 40 m² next to the glass passage.
The 3,000 m² natural plot is located directly on the shore with the beach, the fishing harbour, a small ferry dock and the marina. From the large south-facing terrace with a brick screen against the water, there is a marvellous view of everything and life on the Alsfjord from the first floor. The entire house is harmoniously and stylishly furnished, and with billiards and table tennis, there is never a dull moment.
Hardeshøj Færgegård is ideal for a family celebration in beautiful surroundings. You will be personally welcomed and informed about the house on arrival, and you can contact the owner before your holiday for practical information. This is the largest holiday apartment in the area, with a harmonious and stylish interior. In the main house, the living room measures 55 m², with a wood-burning stove and a fantastic view of the sound. Intermediate hallway with office; dining room/conference room (90 m2). Fully professionally equipped kitchen, cooking island with eight hotplates. Activity room (60 m2) with, among other things, billiards and table tennis. 3 bathrooms. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Large south-facing terrace with a brick screen, just 20 metres from the shore.
The upper floor has 12 bedrooms, ten of which have double beds and the last two have two single beds each. There are also three bathrooms. From the hallway you have access to a roof terrace with a marvellous view of the sound.
The house is partly heated with oil heating, heating oil is billed according to consumption. Water, oil and electricity are charged according to consumption on departure.
With an area of 321 km², it is the seventh largest island in Denmark. 165 km of coastline with fine sandy beaches and beautiful forest areas invite you to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Als has perhaps Denmark's best fishing waters. Fishing trips and tourist trips with fishing boats can be organised, with pick-up 100 m from the house.
In the summer, several places on Als organise ring-knight festivals, which are a South Jutland tradition and a unique experience. . Lively natural phenomena, interesting technology and fun activities that you can easily spend a whole day with. The atmospheric town of Sønderborg is also definitely worth a visit, with its beautiful harbour, good shopping opportunities in the many small shops, nice cafés and restaurants and, last but not least, plenty of shops with everyday necessities.
