Adore this property. Kimpton never fails. The staff were accommodating and courteous, and the room was spacious and clean. Easy walk into the quarter and plenty of food options across the street and in the area.

The property and service were great. However, two things were not as we expected. 1. We booked a king bed, but we have been assigned two queens instead. We have been told it's not guaranteed when a third party like Expedia books the room. 2. There is no late checkout, not even at noon. We had to leave our room at 11:00 am, which was very inconvenient.

The Kimpton Fontenot is a wonderful hotel in the heart of New Orleans. It's a short walk to the French Quarter and the Morial Convention Center. The Peacock Room bar in the main lobby is a fun place to hang out.

Another satisfying stay at Kimpton.
Kimpton is about atmosphere and the Fontenot does not disappoint. The staff are the caretakers of the atmosphere and they all did a good job making sure we enjoyed our stay. The lobby cress was superb and the cleaning staff was efficient. A great location for enjoying and exploring N'Orlens.

Best hotel I have stayed at yet!
We loved our stay! We visited NOLA for a Taylor Swift concert. The hotel went all out with Swift themed happenings and little goodie bags. The entire staff was beyond friendly, even during a crazy rush of guests. Valet was soooo helpful, sweet and sprinkled with good humor. The vibe of the hotel was so cool! Our room was very spacious and cute. We had brunch in the attached restaurant. Our server was very sweet. Coffee from the little coffee shop, the guys working were so fun! Even going as far as introducing themselves before taking our order. Personal touches were everywhere and I've never felt more welcome! My daughter says this hotel gets 1,000 stars. We will be back again!

We had a suite with a King bed. The room spacious. The carpet with stains and torn in several areas. We had a visitor during the night of a lizard. This totally freaked this northern. It was harmless, but staff couldn’t find, so that wasn’t good. Very loud in lobby with TS concert. The best features was Zac in the cafe and the valet workers! It’s nice, but not luxury, and paid luxury prices when it’s was not more than a 3 star hotel.

Taylor Swift Concert!!!
It was a great stay & the hotel did an amazing job as it was the Taylor Swift concert weekend. Funny though they served us drinks in a globe & wanted the globe back after we drank the drink! Not a good look!!! Other then that we loved it there!!! Will be back!

Wonderful place to stay. Our only complaint was that there seemed to be some kind of plumbing issue with loudly knocking pipes in the wall every morning. Something needs to be done about that! Everything else was delightful.
