The property on the whole was superb and we would highly recommend. The location was great also, as it was just a short walk in to the heart of the shopping district and Duomo. The service overall was excellent from start to finish, from the reception area to the breakfast/dining area staff….we couldn't fault any service we received. The selection for breakfast was great also and everything from the various pastries and fruit were extremely fresh. We had dinner on the first night, and although the food was again excellent…perhaps a few more choices on top of what was on offer wouldn’t go a miss.
We were staying in the Junior Suite on the top floor. The room was stunning with the bathroom and separate toilet area all finished in thick marble, so very smart indeed. The bath also had a jacuzzi facility which was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only one thing on the whole experience I was slightly let down with, was the fact it stated that the Junior Suite comes with a terrace and city view. Well yes, there was a sizeable terrace, but as far as the city view was concerned…it wasn’t much to shout about. But to be fair, we were hardly in the room much anyway for obvious reasons. Too much sight seeing, eating/drinking and shopping to be done….so it wasn’t worth complaining about. All in all, we would definitely go back in a heart beat, so if you are considering it….go for it!
