The managers aren’t truthful they say go back and we will sort your issue. The laundry team spoilt one of my matching garments by washing not dry cleaning as stipulated. The WiFi doesn’t work consistently. The room allocated was all in the shade and dark to go to The staff however are amazing. The food and atmosphere is good. The gardens and pool area immaculate Had stomach issues along with another man I got talking to the whole time of being there but don’t know why. Other than that the Spa amazing and to be honest if the manager on charge hadn’t lied to me I would have graded it more

This was a lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The only drawback was the pool temperature- we went at the end of October and despite it being 25 - 30 degrees outside, the pool was ice cold at all times of day and never warmed up, to the extent that small children found it way too cold to swim. Perhaps because it was such a big pool it just couldn’t heat up naturally, but if you’re going to be open during cooler months, it really needs to be heated. The indoor pool also wasn’t heated at all and very cold to use. Otherwise a lovely place to go.

I stayed here for 3 nights. First impressions were good, there was a man with a buggie who took us to our room with the luggage. Once we got into the room that’s when things started going downhill. There were ants crawling all over the bathroom door frame and floor. We reported it to reception and they did sort it out, but left all the dead ants on the floor!! The food was terrible, stale and cold. Breakfast isn’t served fresh, they cook it and leave it under the light. The cups were constantly dirty and I had been given filthy cutlery which I could see someone else eggs still on them! I felt the staff were not friendly there at all apart from the chef at breakfast time who made me and my husband tea. I’ve stayed in Iberostar 3 times and would recommend it over Riu Tikida any day! For the price we paid for 3 nights it was a complete waste of money!

Good: Staff - all really nice and engaging Moroccan food - great tagines Breakfast - great selection of food Grounds and shared areas - clean and well gardened Shuttle bus into the city - free and frequent enough To improve: Room condition - some peeling plaster, shower cubical leaked, just a bit tired Shower gel/shampoo - just a single dispenser for poor quality stuff. Pools - both really cold! Non-Moroccan food - lots of the same food each meal and not amazing Coffee - espresso wasn't great, the breakfast coffee machines made a version of a coffee flavoured drink I wouldn't classify as coffee Overall - a decent hotel that needs a bit of TLC

Just back from a great week here - food was amazing and lots of choice. Nice cocktails served by friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Handy shuttle bus into the medina (needed prior booking but we were able to get on when we wanted). Overall would definitely recommend!

This was a nice safe property. The specialty restaurants seemed unnecessary as the same food and experience were offered in the main restaurant. A suggestion would be more shuttle times and additional stops to major tourist destinations besides Jemaa el-fnaa

Property was great. Bathroom smells sometimes and water leaked from bathtub. Employees were great. Overall we had great time. This hotel is 25 mins away from the city center. You will not find any stores nearby unless you make that 25 mins drive. Morocco was great.

The property was nice and staff was kind. Very impressed with their ability to speak so many languages! It was a beautiful property but the room had some water damage on the walls. The buffet was repetitive but the city was a taxi ride away and filled with options for dining. The ATM was broken so be sure to exchange money prior to arriving. Overall a nice experience.

Our experience here was amazing and we are already planning to visit again next year. The staff are so kind and friendly and the animation team waa brilliant. They kept everyone entertained and my son loved them all. The pool is amazing its the biggest pool we have ever seen but was always kept clean and tidy. The grounds are always spotless and staff keep everything running so smoothy. We miss this place already!

We had a great time at the Riu. It was very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The food was good but could use a little more seasoning. Only thing I would recommend is that they have another pool on the property because it was way too crowded. The entertainment team was great but they should not present shows that make fun of other nationalities (i.e African and Chinese dance). Lastly male staff should not go into female washrooms to clean and if they must then they should wait until people exit and put a sign up or let people know they are coming in.

A good place but lacking a bit in the surrounding areas unless you go into Marrakech centre with the bus which is good but the last bus back is very early so you end up needing a taxi back anyway. Entertainment wise there is not that much to do other than swim in the pool which was very very busy most days. Having to get up at 7 am so that we could make sure we got a lounger as so many ppl put their towels on there was a bit annoying as wold have liked to have a lie in also. Food is ok not amazing although the booked restaurants were better. The drinks are very weak just FYI. Much weaker than any other all inclusive I've ever been too. The entertainment options were not really to our taste but many people really seemed to enjoy them. We were hoping for a proper show or something. The musician by the pool bar was really good though The staff were all really lovely and the hotel was very clean and we were treated very well at all times. Top marks for the staff and the room we got was absolutely stunning. Good hotel with few areas it could improve but overall we had a good time
