Good and Bad

Good Bits - Buffet breakfast (except for first day due to lack of renters), Dinner (but a bit expensive), Spacious rooms and complex. Cheaper than staying in heart of Marrakech. Pleasant reception staff. Bad Bits - Complained about no bulb in bathroom and no hot water 3 times before getting it sorted on the 3rd day!. Not friendly breakfast staff. Outdoor heated pool is NOT heated so did not go swimming, kids not happy! Spa too expensive. Shuttle bus is too late leaving in the morning (10:30) and no taxi service nearby.

Amazing Hotel.

Great Hotel, the facilities are great as are the breakfast staff. The room was beautiful, and except for an ant problem, was faultless. The reception staff could have been friendlier though! We've booked again for this year, so we're hoping they've improved!

I love Adama!!

This is one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in. The villas are spacious, clean and comfy. The gardens are well cared for, the swimming pool is amazing. The staff are always so friendly. Mainly french speaking but this wasn't an issue. A nice oasis away from marrakech city centre, hopefully I'll be returning again next year.

Great weekend break

The resort is away from the city but the resort does offer free travel into Jemaa el Fna. Given how old, busy and hot the city is and the location of a lot of the Riads this separation from the city was refreshing. It was an old but well maintained resort despite its age being clearly visible it was in tune with the rest of the city. The apartment was 3-stories high with a magnificent view of the Atlas Mountains from the bedroom balcony. It is best described as basic but functional with a fully equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi was temperamental but it was free and seemed to work better in either the restaurant or beside the pool. The only real grumble about the room was the lack of English TV channels and there was certainly no entertainment channels - it was all news based. The beds were comfortable there was plenty of room for a family of 4 the garden was also well equipped with a couple of sun loungers and a patio table set. The pool was small and I can imagine that it would be uncomfortably busy when the resort was at capacity – whilst it was quiet there was plenty of choice of loungers and, apart from one group of young lads playing their music, it was peaceful and relaxing. Despite being heated the water was cold but extremely refreshing given the unseasonably warm weather. The restaurant was exquisite and I would rate this as the highlight of the resort. The lamb tagine melted in your mouth and the tenderloin steak was cooked to perfection. Whilst the menu choice is limited what was on there was well prepared and well presented. The breakfast choice was a little disappointing, not because of the range but more because they failed to keep the range replenished throughout the breakfast period. The final element of the resort was the spa which was well presented and reasonable priced. Slightly disappointed that they wouldn’t do spa treatments for under 18’s as the kids really enjoyed their equivalent in Turkey a couple of years ago. The treatment was good though although it’s worth considering and booking this early as the number of available slots is limited.

Nice hotel, bad service

This is a lovely hotel, it is a little out of the way so taxis will be abit dearer than a hotel closer to the medina. The room was cleaned daily but not to a great standard. The hotel food was lovely and the service was great. However the concierge was non existent, when we finally booked an excursion we didn't get the change until we left and that was from reception because the concierge was still nowhere to be seen. The female staff member on reception was rude and arrogant but the male member was great. A mixed review for this hotel.
