Rooms were smaller than advertised, overall no reachable outlets. Thermostat had the option to lower temp but it didn’t work, room was so stuffy we had to leave the windows open the whole time. It states 4 star on Expedia but closer to a 2 star in my opinion. Location was good though.

Unacceptable. Outdated .
This property was a total disappointment. We were 3 couples traveling together. All 3 room were unacceptable. One of the major things is this property claims to have air conditioning and when we went to complain to front desk, clerk yelled at 3 groups of people THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING IN TBIS HOTEL .( yet they claim they do ) The first room that was offered to me was was smelly to the point I thought someone had just used the bathroom. Later I found out some other guest had same problem . I was then offered another room that did not smell , but for this luxury I had to pay an extra 15.00 per night . When I was given 2nd room , I went to take a shower at 11:40 pm and the shower did not work , so I was given a key to another room so I had to go to front desk so I could pick up another key so I could shower. . I would not stay in this property if it was given to me for free .

Great location for walking to the Prado, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel and Palacio Real. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was fantastic—fresh fruit and juices.
