The hotel is not easy accessible by taxi and the hotel doesn’t have a big sign saying “Francisco Hotel “ it can be easily missed at night especially for new guests

Modern meets traditional. The hotel is in an old building but it’s beautifully designed. We have a corner room which is quite large and spacious. Bathroom is very nice and functional with good amenities. The beds are very comfortable.

My favorite hotel! This was my second time staying at Hotel Francisco and I loved it even more. We are right at the city center and close to Puerta de Sol, Plaza Mayor, el Palacio Real (5-10 minutes away)- with the farthest walk to El Parque de Retiro being 25 minutes away. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and kind, especially Mai at the bar. The renovated breakfast area was beautiful and the food was delicious. I could not recommend this hotel any more than I already do. 100/10!

Located on the border of Opera and Centro, is a great luggage. Despite being in the midst of the busy Calle Arenal, the hotel itself was very quiet. Buffet included was diverse enough for fussy eaters to find something. Would reccomend.

Nice little boutique hotel. Spacious, no frills room with fairly large bathroom, small balcony (no chairs), firm beds. Easy walk to Plaza Mayor, palace, cathedral, metro station, restaurants. Lovely breakfast buffet.
