Unforgettable experience at El Clásico in Madrid
Great location and comfort room with double bed. 5 min to metro Tribunal. A lot of choice of bars and restaurants. Also good view from 4th floor. Recommend for those who are going to Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

I enjoyed my stay
Hostel Gallardo is a simple, clean, comfortable, centrally located two-star property. Before 1 a.m., the hotel area is safe, and key attractions are walking distance. After 1 a.m., I did not feel comfortable walking on the street alone, out of an abundance of caution. The staff is kind and welcoming. The owner offered to hold my luggage at a discount.

Fine for a night
Well located, not much noise. Very clean and tidy. The only minus, air conditioner/heater, bit noisy. So, had to sleep with it switched off, obviously woke early in the morning with cold. At least they could reinforce with additional blankets.

good location, nice room
the hostal is very small (my room was right next to the reception) but the room is quite spacious. the staff was friendly and wifi worked well. location is excellent, walking distance to most attractions in Madrid

Good location and good price
Location was very good and for what you pay was comfortable and clean. No frills, but it was well priced and has all the basics one needs. My room had a great view as well. The front desk person was very nice and was patient with my bad Spanish (though he spoke English as well). Was a bit hard to find as the door was not open to the lobby and it was tough to figure out as there was not a sign posted on the 4th floor. Now that I know, I would stay again. Close to several metro stops, many restaurants, lots of bars, and not a far walk from a 24 super market. Had a great experience.

Great hostel for the price representing good value. I had to call to say I would note make the 12 midnight check in due to a delayed flight. The reception stayed until I arrived around 12.20 am to check me in - late check in charge of 15 euros.I had a double room for solo use which meant I had plenty of space - a couple may have found it cramped.

Good for one night
This Hostal is on the fourth floor of a very old building. Front desk hours are from 8am to 11pm and staff is very friendly. My room was very small but it was good for one night. It was clean and the A/C wall unit worked well. Must leave it on all night to block the noise from the street. Otherwise, get ready to stay up all night.

Budget value, handy location.
This hostel is value for money. In many other European cities you will think it is expensive but compared to hotel prices in the vicinity it is cheap and it is easy to see why. Room was VERY small and no extras, but did have hot water and a comfortable enough bed. It is also not easy to find being on the 4th floor. However, the better news is there are several decent restaurants at street level and it is literally a couple of minutes walk from Tribunal metro which makes it very easy to get anywhere in the city including the airport. It is not far to the Royal Palace, del Prado, Plaza Mayor and Plaza Sol and many other sights.

The room was tiny and bathroom smells very strong, the bathroom faucet drips all night, the neighbourhood is fine but it's not Madrid central, kind of funky.

Nice hotel close to everything, staff is very helpful Fernando and the manager Oscar are very customer friendly. On my second night an alarm went on at a neighbor's place for almost three hours during the night but I think it's part of the game to have noise if you want to stay near the Center.

Had to fgo to an address close by, hotel is 100 m from metro station (Tribune) has a MC D and two star books on same street several bars within walking distance. Very lowprice and well equiped room for price I was very confortable and will stay again. Great value.
